Outdoor seating is nice. My pear/walnut salad was $17.00. It was a small serving. Pretty disappointing. The lady's restroom was a mess. The bar area was loud, but staff was attentive. There was music provided by a piano, but the person's 'speaker' wasn't of good quality which made the sound of her playing rather harsh sounding, but we enjoyed her... More

In Jack London Square are numerous restaurants, and we walked the whole square, peering at all the menus before deciding on Scott's Seafood Restaurant. You know the saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do?" Well Scott's Seafood Restaurant is an awesome place to order seafood. Beef? Not so much. But I digress. Let me start at the beginning.... I went to the first Scott's in SF on Lombard St in the 70's. It was great then, but things haven't changed much. Food is good and service, professional, and the location in Jack London Square is gorgeous. But at these prices, there's plenty of better choices.

My wife and I went to Scott's Seafood for the first time last Friday night. It is in our neighborhood and is right on the Oakland Estuary. We sat outside which was lovely, but our meal and conversation was overshadowed by the table of six loud and tipsy people next to us. In retrospect, we should have asked to move... More

We went into an almost empty restaurant and the service was very slow. We were almost ready to leave when someone walked up and said they would get our server, we figured it may be time for change of shift and shrugged it off. We had a bit of sticker shock when we got the menus but we were in... More

Jack London Square seafood house with all the traditional dishes. I am a clam chowder crazed lunatic. Theirs was just average which disappointed me, especially for where we were. Fish of the day was just ok and too much butter. All in all, nice place to go aesthetically, but food slightly above average, especially at those prices.

The service was highly professional, except that they forgot about us when it was time to pay. The food was good but by no means worth the very high price. The restaurant was clean and sparkly but some of the decor is a bit dated. The jazz pianist was great but we could not hear his singing. Etc.

Doesn't get anymore traditional then Scott's. I stop in for lunch and enjoy sitting at the bar. Great staff and an awesome view.

Sure, it's a fish house, but I needed steak, and they didn't let me down. Wish they had a better wine list, but the food was excellent and the service was very good. I'll be back.

I can never pass up a seafood restaurant when I'm in an area that is the source of seafood like this area is. I was not disappointed, it was a grand meal.
