Lunch consisted of oysters rockerfeller, an individual salad a piece and a shared dessert, with a glass of wine each. Service was excellent, oysters were excellent, salads very good. We have found lunch to be a more affordable and less hectic experience here. I have eaten lunch here numerous times and dinner only once. Lunch has always been better than... More

The best seafood stew I have ever had so far. This place is classy and the food menu items and quality is way above average. They are very busy. I recommend reserving your table ahead of time. They get packed at night and that means they are in demand! The only reason I don't give 5 star is that they... More

My wife and I ate here for Sunday brunch with another couple and our experience was pretty much a disappointment. Yes, it's on the water and the views are good. Our server was pleasant and very attentive which was the highlight of the experience. Going down the list of items that I tried; the baked ham was good, the cheese... More

I visit Oakland for business several times a year and have had dinner at Scott's many times. I have not been disappointed. I usually eat there during weekdays, so generally it is not to crowded. They have nice outside seating for appropriate weather, and the views from inside are just as good. Service is excellent. I like beef and have... More

I had my weekly date night with my spouse. He wanted to visit Scott's Restaurant. We haven't eaten there in quite awhile. The restaurant appears to have been updated; the room and menu. Our servers (1 trainee) were very helpful in making suggestions to meet our dietary needs. The food was delicious. I will certainly return and recommend. It's a... More

Good ambience, decent seafood. Go when the sun is setting over the bay. I had the seafood stew which was delicious with shell fish, shrimp, white fish, salmon and vegys in a lemon butter broth.

Me and my wife both really enjoyed the great views of the bay from our table. The addition of a live jazz ensemble really makes for great atmosphere and I highly recommend this location for drinks and apps. They have a staggering wine list, a limited selection of beers on tap and a full compliment of liquor for most any... More

We had an excellent dinner at Scotts. Aside from the great setting in Jack London Square, the food and the service were very good. There were four people on our party (I had the swordfish) and none of us were disappointed. I'm back in Oakland on business in two weeks and will go to Scotts again.

I have eaten at Scotts in Palo Alto and San Jose, but this was the first time in Oakland at Jack London Square. The brunch was poor. The scrambled eggs were so under cooked and were just a mess of slime. On the other hand the Eggs Benedict were dry and tasteless. Some were supposed to be with crab cakes,... More
