The family and I stopped in after a Raiders game. The place was bustling and there was quite a wait; what can you say, it's worth it! The decor is fun and the servers are nice. I was bummed to be seated in the back room, as it wasn't as electrifying as the main room. The ribs fall off the... More

Been eating Everett and Jones for years. My favorite things are the Hot Links and the Mac and Cheese. But most everything is good.

I love everything about E and J, from the funky, eclectic decor to pretty much every item on the menu that I've tried. The service is friendly and down home, the barbecue is to die for and comes with three degrees of heat in the sauces, and all the side dishes are great. I love it's back story ((printed on... More

Everett & Jones is not the best BBQ in Oakland – and one wonders about the quality/origination of the meats. They make their own links, and they're good, but when I eat them I swear I won't again for at least 3 months, and I don't. The sauce is fine. But try B-Side or Smoke in Berkeley if you don't... This was the first time I had proper barbecue and now I understand what the fuss is about. When you walk in you smell the barbecue, the scent is intoxicating. The food is amazing, I had the medium spice brisket with greens and macaroni salad. It was to die for, and the corn bread is out of this world. The... More

I do love this place, though I can't speak to every menu item. I come by whenever I can (living close to Milpitas). As others have noted, genuinely good barbecue is hard to find in this part of the world. This is one of my havens. Great for a solo lunch or a group of family and friends for lunch... More

The food was delicious, we had a combo platter, the slice beef was so tender it just melts in your mouth once you start chewing, of course the ribs are to die for!!!! Then even have 3 different sauces to choose from I had hot and mild, poured them over my meat and was in heaven, this is a must... More

Had a blast with the crew at Everett & Jones! They showed love, and their food is made with it as well. Good barbeque, live music on Fridays, and close to the waterfront.

Stumbled onto this wonderful BBQ restaurant. I had the chicken and my friend, the pork ribs. The meat was very tender and the BBQ sauce comes in mild, medium and hot. The sides were all very homemade tasting and the wait staff was extremely pleasant. The portions are generous. We finished our dinners for breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised that the... More

The portions are enormous! But we were hungry so no complaints. We were promptly seated, service was prompt & polite. Music added to the atmosphere. Everyone there seemed to be having a good time enjoying the very tasty southern barbeque. We walked over from the Waterfront Hotel - about a block or two away.
