We get takeout from Baja a few times a month! Their food is fresh and tasty, and their menu has traditional and more creative options. I love the prawn quesadilla.

Located on trendy Piedmont Ave., this taqueria has been around for a long time. I especially like the chicken burrito, which comes with ample tortilla chips. Tacos are also good, and the fresh horchata goes done nice. A lot of people don;t realize that this place has a liquor license, so you can also buy beer and wine.
Tacos are my favorite fast food. Tacos done well are one of my favorite foods, period. Baja is just ok. This is "mexican" food as conceived by white hippies from California. If you are just looking for a quick bite and you know what to expect, that's just fine. The ingredients are fresh, the prices are decent.
These are the real deal. We make sure to stop in at least once on each trip to Oakland to visit our daughter and her family.
I didn't think you could ruin a lobster burrito....
