Last time I visited Hudson, I was craving meat, meat, meat! I started with the steak tar tar as an appetizer, which is always wonderful. Then I ordered the hanger steak medium rare (but on the rare side) which came out perfection! Every time I crave a good quality steak dinner in the bay area, I always order it here....

Just flew in earlier that day from east coast and had major carnivore craving going on. Garibaldi's has been so good for so long that I fear some people may not think to go there. Excellent, varied, creative menu. Very good wine list and the bartenders definitely know how to make a great cocktail. Fun to go to eat at the bar but also good for a special occasion.
Not a good place to enjoy the food and company of companions. Service poor, noisy, expensive. Not worth the price
I went to a dinner with a speaker, the soup was very good, the main course was poor, undercooked soufle and the lamb which I love was very strongly flavored. The one hour speaker finished before they even started with the main course and they brought his soup 1/2 an hour before he finished so I hope he liked cold...

Our dining experience on a Friday night began well but deteriorated as the evening progressed. Food and service were more than acceptable. The noise reached such a din that we couldn't hear much that our friends said. We did cup our ears to hear but alas, it was fruitless. Maybe if you dine earlier in the evening or a weeknight...
