Nice lunch with my daughter

My daughter and I had an enjoyable late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. She had the fish tacos and I had the hamburger with a side salad instead of fries. It was pricey but the service, view, and food quality all added up to money well spent.

Delicious "Old School" food....this is the type of food you ate when you out for fine dining in the 70s....still VERY good and worth it but don't go here if you're looking for new cuisine or any preparations that are unique or different.

Fathers' Day is a day when many dads are taken out to lunch or brunch by their families. Restaurants should be aware of this, and staff accordingly. As I write this, we have been waiting roughly 45 minutes for our brunch. I have had to ask for one refill on my coffee, and the food took this long to arrive.... More

Was doing business here of last year and the food was amazing ( try the lobster bisque) and the Manhattan is unmatched. A very classy and romantic get away.

Our party of three had a great late afternoon snack at Kincaid's at Jack London Square on Saturday afternoon. We had appetizers and especially enjoyed the steamed clams, and the crab cakes. The service was attentive and timely. The big picture windows of the Oakland Estuary are the best and we sat in the lounge/bar area which allowed us to... More

Ate at a different establishment for dinner, was forced to eat outside and it was cold! Came to Kincaid's for dessert & a lovely adult beverage - and they did not disappoint! Order the Carmel Martini's and a sinful chocolate cake with ice cream...I wanted to lick the plate, but I did not!

My husband has loved this place for years, taking business travelers to dinner whenever he could. I haven't been myself in years. It isn't the same. Started out with a notice on the door from Alameda county Envornmental Health sticker... I would have walked but hubby was intent on a delicious romantic dinner here. Started off with wonderful warm bread... More

Sat in the bar for a wonderful dinner and magnificent view of SF Bay at sunset. Service was the best and food was even better...fish and chips the best I have ever eaten and my husband's burger can not be beaten. Fair prices and great choices.

There are good restaurants to choose from at Jack London's Square in Oakland, but I prefer Kincaid's for lunch. They have an attentive staff, and although I had only an hour for lunch, they were accommodating. I had a wonderful clam chowder and a tasty blue cheese salad served with hot bread and garlic butter. Nice view of the sailboats... More

This was our first visit to Kincaid's. On a Wednesday evening rush hour, we got stuck in an Oakland traffic jam and decided to pull of the freeway and have dinner. The restaurant is located in Jack London Square, a few blocks from I-880.The restaurant overlooks the Alameda Estuary. We did not have reservations, so we were offered a ten... More
