Ok, it was our anniversary, so we were ready to have a special meal, and we weren't disappointed at all! Contemporary atmosphere, great service and terrific food. Of the seven dishes we ordered and split (4 appetizers, 1 salad, 1 entree, 1 dessert), all were really good, and a couple were truly excellent. The "chopped calamari" was probably the best... More

It should have been a clue to me that there were plenty of tables available. But we needed to have dinner and went in. Husband ordered the salmon which came with the most horrible arugula pesto sauce -- green tasteless mush poured all over his potatoes and fish. Yuck! His "chopped" salad was mushy and just avocado and romaine lettuce... More

Even though this place is tiny, they usually have reservations available if you call ahead. They have a good cocktail list and delicious seafood. On our first visit, we enjoyed a complimentary appetizer and dessert! Staff is very friendly!

Welcoming is the description when we walked thru the door. Promptly seated even without a reservation, we arrived early enough for a discounted price fix menu serving a fish specialty. The lobster bisque was the best I ever had! Main meal had some of best prepared asparagus. Topping it off with pannacota was special! Drinks were ample and water was... More

My girlfriend and I were excited to try Marica, but were disappointed overall. We started with a calamari appetizer that had great flavor, but there were more greens on the plate than there was calamari. We shared the "chopped salad" next and found it to be more of an odd chopped egg salad instead. My girlfriend had a nicely cooled... More

This was my first visit to both Marica and the neighborhood, but the place feels like the neighborhood - very friendly, slightly upscale, comfortable. We had three different types of fish (seafood stew, salmon and sea bass) as well as the lobster bisque. All the fish was unanimously praised, as was the soup. Although it tasted like no lobster bisque... More

Wife and I had an awesome dining experience here. Food and service was great. The way the chef married the flavors in both of our dishes was amazing. Drinks are reasonable during happy hour. Marica is a very cozy place. I typically don't go for small restaurants like this but for this place, it works. Not a place for little... More

We've been eating at this restaurant since its very early days...first time in 1999. It's one of those places you don't get tired of going to as it's always staying current, delivering great food and drink at a fair price. One thing to note...it's very noisy, so if you have difficulty in loud settings, this could trouble you. There won't... More

Wonderful restaurant. Busy even on a Monday night. My wife and I ordered the seafood stew with a cheese puff. The sauce was amazing!good portion with lots of shrimp and scallops.Delicious! The chocolate souffle, which had to be ordered at the beginning of the meal, came with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and was big enough for 4 of us to share..

Where else can you get a $5 martini (when they are on special)? The food, and particularly the fish, which my husband loves, is always good. The sides are also well cooked--no overcooked brocolli or green beans.
