The food here is the best! We live 4 blocks away and eat here at least once a week. It's our favorite restaurant in the bay area. It's such a shame they don't deliver. It would easily grow their business by 25% or more.
the food was fabulous, the atmosphere is very nice, and the service was terrific. we have eaten here before and had a great meal again. everything was tasty and smelled wonderful. we actually ordered an eggplant and chicken dish because the people at the table next to us were eating it and it smelled soo good! it tasted as good...

Had lunch at PHO 84. Ordered the chicken vermicelli bowl along with a glass of white wine. Flavors were delicious. The chicken breast could have been better trimmed before cooking. The restaurant stayed busy all through lunch. Service was good. I would return again. Portions were large.
Went with friends and had an amazing meal. Everything was wonderfully tasty and service was warm, attentive, and fast. The menu is full of great options - vegetarian and meat. Highly recommended!

Cozy restaurant, good service. Plenty of tasty vegetarian options. Conveniently located in downtown Oakland (sort of where uptown and downtown meet).
For non-vegetarians, special rice (saffron flavored rice cooked in chicken broth) has a great flavor and adds a subtle flavor to whatever other food you are having with it (and it looks festive too).
Ask for the Sriracha sauce...

I went to dinner with my business colleagues and we had a delicious meal. I looked at the reviews for this restaurant before my trip, and #20 with the shrimp and beef, rice, spring roll, and salad was delicious. The beef melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this vietnamese restaurant.
From the appetisers, imperial rolls, sauteed prawns, chicken or shrimp salad, to the pho, to the mains like chicken over spinach or calamari in coconut sauce this restaurant delivers delicious dishes every time.
