Doesn't get any better than this!

I enjoy pizza, but am not a huge fan...I can do with just about any other food. But this pizza had me coming back for more. And it wasn't just the sauce, or the toppings, or the crust...it was everything together and how it was combined. (side note, make sure to plan at least 30-40 minutes before... read more

But this isn't a NY or artisan thin crust. If you like Chicago pizza, either thick or stuffed, Zachary's is the bomb. And has been for YEARS. Just started taking credit cards-YAY! The half baked is awesome. Best sauce anywhere.

My craving for Chicago style deep dish pizza got the better of me so decided to drive 20 miles to Zacharys. The daughter and I ordered a medium deep dish pizza (6 slices) customized half and half to our individual preferences. Price with tax $30. On my side of the half I ordered the chicken special while my daughter ordered... More

2nd time here in 4 years, still didn't care for the "tomato pie". I will admit that I didn't have much exposure to "deep dish pizza" in my life. Everyone says to get the deep dish, so we did. My parents were from the "old country" & had 2 Italian restaurants. I am used to a medium type crust, a... More

Simply put, it's the best deep dish pizza anywhere. It's so good that we consider Zachary's a destination restaurant. Be sure to try their signature dish, spinach and mushroom with pesto, then you will be in heaven

Deep dish Chicago Pizza in the heart of Berkeley, CA - it was the real deal - very good. We did take away and got it half baked and baked the pizza at home. A large pizza served 6 people and all were happy!

Zachary's Chicago Pizza is the best pizza I've eaten outside of Chicago! I was born and raised in Chicago, and I consider myself an "expert" on Chicago-style pizza. My favorite pizzeria in the world is Eduardo's in Chicago's Hyde Park area. Zachary's is a very close second. What makes Zachary's so good? Simple: the very flavorful sauce (I always order... More

Please don't critize Zachary's because they serve deep dish pizza, that's who they are and they are amazing. If you want thin crust go to Lanesplitter. Just come prepared to get a salad or appetizer if you are hungry because you can't rush pizza this good.

Great deep dish pizza on the West Coast! Awesome free range chicken, spinach, mushroom, lots of health toppings! We get this to take home about 2 times a year, wish it was more! They do offer a "thin" version of their pizzas too! My 8yr old and nieces/nephews seem to like the "thin" more than the stuffed. But every adult... More

I only get deep dish pizza here, because, well, there isn't any point to trying anything else when the deep dish is this good. Doesn't even matter what type you get, it is flavorful, well balanced, full of goodies, and the basic crust and basic tomato sauce are to die for.
