Love, love, LOVE going to Fenton's. The food is not just a supporting cast for the ice cream. The menu is wide and varied and I never have the same thing twice. A must!

A traditional ice creamery in the heart of bustling, trendy Piedmont Ave. Highly recommend: crab sandwich, egg or tuna & olive sandwiches on toasted sourdough. Have a tasty freeze of milkshake too! Otherwise, just come for a flavorful scoop or sundae made with delicious ice cream & toppings!

It was a full house at the Oakland restaurant on National Ice Cream Day, but only a short wait and well worth detour for a good lunch and fantastic ice cream. We always stop at the Nut Tree Fenton's when driving home through Vacaville several times each year.

The ice cream is great, though pricy, with large portions. Fentons also includes a sandwich area and outdoor tables. I think the sundaes are the best bargain, but seasonal fruit ice cream cones are unbeatable.

This has been a family destination for three generations! Extravagantly huge portions. All ice cream made on site and so deliicious! Parking is a premium and be prepared to wait--it's SOO worth it!
