My wife and I stopped here after a long day of hiking in Yosemite. We read good things about the place, here on Tripadvisor, so we expected not to be seated right away. All in all, we only had to wait about 20 minutes which was OK. After about 20 minutes we were guided to a table which was -... More

I live in the community and will never eat at this glorified road stop. I had the Ribeye, it was over cooked without flavor. My wife had seafood which was described as almost edible. They must have been short on wait staff the night because the owner was taking car of our table, he was qualified to bus tables. Never... More

Loved the decor, the server was friendly & my steak was great, onion rings were tasty...............and then my hubby tasted his ribs.......fatty boiled meat lathered in BBQ sauce. We were quite surprised that a steakhouse that could cook such a good steak would mess up so badly on ribs. The server was very sweet though and offered to bring another... More

We felt like steak, and certainly had a very well cooked house speciality steak called Flat Iron, succulent, cooked medium rare, tender and juicy, excellent. The Jalapeño poppers we had as an appetiser are to be avoided, they are essentially deep fried cream cheese balls with a small piece of not very spicy jalapeño somewhere inside. The onion rings were... More

Very friendly service. Excellent food quality. Easy access from the road. Large portions, nothing fancy just really good food.

This is a simple restaurant with a nice atmosphere and very good staff! Bar is really ok! Food is delicous. Try the portobello mushroom and the cheese cake dessert! And of course the meat... We liked it so much that we came back next day!

The range of opinion on Trip Advisor is so interesting, isn't it? How can some strongly dislike a vendor that others love ? Well I certainly do not have the answer to that but my hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and don't have any criticisms of it. We received excellent service in spite of arriving dirty, dusty and... More

The restaurant is somewhat dated; reminds me of steakhouses from the 1970s and 1980s. However - and most important - the food was excellent, and the service prompt and friendly.

Ate here twice for lunch; both were great. The turkey burger was tender, and the portibello mushroom sandwich was delicious. Have the sweet potato fries with your food - they are huge - and delicious! The interior is dark wood paneling like most places years ago, but the food as state of the art, reasonable, and best of all -... More

We stopped in this place heading out of town. If the dinner is half as good as the breakfast is, it would be my #1 recommendation of places to eat at a reasonable price. Great staff!
