Lots of character

Kind of expensive but this place is charming. The kids liked the scenery and the food was good, not great. Probably won't top by again. Too expensive. $12 for a sandwich.

I brought home enough food for lunch for two from my dinner leftovers! Very good potato salad, coleslaw, garlic bread. Tried both the brisket & pulled pork. Excellent! Small but good selection of beer. Not so much on the wine side. But we will go again.

This restaurant is now called Alice's Cookhouse. Our whole family greatly enjoyed our meal. BBQ was excellent! Daughter had beef brisket, husband had pulled pork and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. All were very good!! If you like garlic, I HIGHLY recommend the garlic fries!!

It's now Alice not Todd's. Went here tonight for dinner. Let me start by saying I'm from the south and have never had western BBQ before. Well yuck... I didn't like it. I didn't like the BBQ sauce, I didn't like the ketchup, I didn't like the cole slaw or the "garlic bread". Fries were good but had to eat... More

While this was Todd's Barbeque he had really let the place get run down and it was quickly becoming the place to avoid, rather than eat at. Todd has now left the building and his wife Alice has taken over and what a difference! The place is clean (all the time Todd owned it I never knew the floor tile... More

this place used to have a nice amount of good food however the last time i went we were disgusted and walked out. it was dirty and the bathroom was so gross and falling down actually. I will never go her again unless the rumor i hear is true about someone buying it and changing it to a new place

On your way to Bass Lake or Yosemite? This is a great casual place with both really good typical BBQ (they make their own sauces) or healthier versions. I love their south west chicken chipotle salad with grilled chicken. Very generous portions, very reasonable prices, and a great friendly wait staff!

I love their gumbo. Problem is, I often visit their restaurant and they are out of it. Make more TODD ....... Let's talk about their fish and chips; ..... I think it's superior to Crab Cakes, the dedicated seafood restaurant here in town.

Great BBQ food with amazing service. The girls were extremely friendly, helpful, considerate, and hard-working. I had the Cajun Jambalaya (delicious), while my bride had the pulled pork sandwich (also fantastic). Our daughter had the fish and chips, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her huckleberry ice cream dessert was a family hit!!! Prices were extremely affordable and portions were comfortable, but... More

I loved the Brisket. My Mom and Husband had fish and chips and they liked there a lot. Pulled pork was a little dry but flavorful.
