Really lots of tasty BBQ

Ate here with family (of 5) in early-July given son has a thing for good BBQ. Both the quality and quantity of the food deserves a solid 4.5/5.0, but the place is what I'd rate as inadequate in both seating and air conditioning. No qualms with the BBQ as it's delicious. The amount of food brought... read more

We had ribs for two with three sides and soft drinks for $32 before tax. Could not upgrade for a beer, so just bought one on top of soft drink. Side of cornbread was fabulous, sides of coleslaw and macaroni salad were good, but small portions for two. Ribs were a large portion, but VERY disappointing. The hide was tough,... More

Perfectly average. If the quality was higher, I'd be willing to pay more for it. Would not recommend.

At $14.50 for a rib plate, I'm glad they gave me plenty of food. I got 4 ribs, a pile of fries, and a nice sized cup of slaw. My husband had the brisket sandwich and my brother got the pulled pork plate. The restaurant was warm the day we went and our order actually got lost somewhere along the... More

We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a very friendly girl behind the counter. She gave us copy of menus so we could look them over before placing our orders. The menu had many options and there were even options for vegetarians. Our food was brought out within 15 minutes of ordering. The half rack of ribs... More

Stopped in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised on how good the BBQ was. Had scooped ice cream for dessert and it was excellent also. Would eat here again if in the area.

Food was good . The only thing was it was warm inside and they need more seating . Busy place . Pulled pork and bread pudding was amazing .

The food is very good. A little expensive. Whatch the special prices. We got the special, but on the menu the same meal was .50 cents cheaper.

Really tiny place inside but very cozy and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our food was fresh, very good tasting and the portion sizes are generous. We loved the ribs and pulled pork sandwich. Have to admit that the woman's Tri-Tip sandwich at the table next to us looked wonderful. If we had stayed in Oakhurst longer,... More

The food is excellent, but the owner usually closes very early on Wednesdays; and early on other evenings when they run out of food. So do NOT count on them being open for late evening dinner.
