Good food, large menu, friendly waitress, reasonable prices. It did however take quite some time between ordering and receiving our meals. The included soup was good, the salad quite basic. Full bar with many types of beer and wine.

The food was decent servings and the staff were friendly. As some other reviews mentioned, the decor is dated but the food tasted nice. The beans we're delish. I would visit again. They made us feel welcomed with having a baby.

If you don't have great Mexican food where you are from, this might be the place for you. The food is plentiful and tasty enough but nothing special. The service was very slow and the place wasn't busy. If I was craving Mexican food I might go back but likely I would explore other options and wait until I got... More

Given some of the other great reviews here, I must have visited one in an alternate reality. The staff is friendly and the location convenient if you're coming out of the southern entrance to Yosemite. Other than that there is nothing to recommend this place. It you think this is good (or even acceptable) Mexican food you need to get... More

A must if you like Mexican could not find a fault. Just make sure you keep going to find it as we didn't realise it was just outside the town.

The place doesn't look exceptional when you first enter, but the food is really good and portions particularly large. Not expensive at all. The waiters are friendly and the environment too.

We were recommended this place by our B&B hosts. It's not far from Mariposa Grove, so if you're around that way it's a convenient place to stop. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Menu has a large selection and is reasonably priced for the portions you get. We had the chicken fajitas and verde enchiladas both of which were quite mild,... More

Driving by this restaurant coming back from Yosemite a couple times looked very busy which is usually a good sign. The service was excellent. The food was ok. I had a combo which was chile relleno, chicked enchilada and chicken taco, it was very bland. My daughter had a taco salad and said it was good. My other daughter had an... More

We decided to try this place out because the parking lot was always full for lunch and dinner. We went a little early for dinner to avoid the rush. The food was very good and the staff were very attentive. We enjoyed our meal very much!

We had never been to El CID before, so we decided to take a walk on the wild side and try something new. Not such a great idea. The burritos and tacos were so, so. The chili relleno was awful. It got four bad votes from the four people in our party of six who got them. The salsa was... More
