Family friendly seafood place.

Good chowder followed by a crab salad for me and fish and chips for my other half. Tasty bread and coleslaw came first. All enjoyed. Menu ranges from good standard items, with a few specials and more expensive dishes. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful.

This is the best restaurant in Oakhurst. Good quality food and great service. My family and I have eaten here many, many times and have never had a bad meal. We love the clam chowder, and though I am not a seafood person, I love eating here because there are lots of other great options like the Chicken Piccata or... More

We ate a crab cake and it was delicious! I absolutely recommend this starter! And after that we asked the opah fish plate and it was fantastic! I have never eaten a fish like this! The customer service was very good, both attendants were very friendly and thoughtful!

First our server was a super nice attentive gal. My spouse ordered the prime rib which was ok at best. I ordered the butter/herb salmon. When the server brought our meals she realized before even setting my salmon on the table she had the blackened salmon instead. She quickly apologized and took my meal back to the kitchen. We were... We went early for the Sunset Specials. Tried the Crab Cakes (with rice and coleslaw) and the Popcorn shrimp (with fries and coleslaw). Both meals were well cooked, and quite tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Crab cakes not like those I have tasted in Loiusiana, and the shrimp no better than Red Lobster. The service is excellent and... More

AMBIENCE: Decor was outdated by a few decades. FOOD: I had a fish dish that came with hush puppies, cole slaw and cajun seasoned catfish. It was OKAY. The cole slaw was rather dry and so were the hush puppies. The fish was the best part of the dish. The dessert, cheesecake, felt like it had been overly defrosted -... More

We looked all over town for a nice place for some drinks and dinner. We walked in and out of the steak house and the brewery. When we found the Crab house we were really excited. The drinks were very good but the food was average at best.

This is the only seafood place in Oakhurst, so one the weekend, prepare to wait. The food is well worth it (I hardly know what to order because it's all good!)

I just love this place. Great staff and whenever I travel back home to Oakhurst this is the bar I go to. Their new location is wonderful and the bar food upstairs is perfect. Come here to catch a game or enjoy their happy hour! Best Seafood in the mountains!
