The Jade had a horrid reputation, until the new owner took over. Now it has really good Oriental food...Chinese, Sushi, a little Thai and maybe more. We tried several different dishes and were really pleasantly shocked! It was the best Chinese food I've had up here in Oakhurst in years! The restaurant furnishings are so-so, but hopefully the new owner... More

Had dinner (group of 6) after a long drive from Napa Valley, Very convenient to our Days Inn lodge (and also recommended by them), especially since 3 members of the group were vegetarian. The place is tiny and standard Chinese restaurant. But the owner is fantastic, who even cooked our delicious meal - large portions and very fresh local produce.... More

Went to dinner at the New Jade Gazebo - Chinese Cuisine & Sushi. They have a new owner and chef and NOW serve sushi. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Will definitely return.

This is a small place next to a very noisy pub (maybe just that night) so it may not be exactly a family type place but it is had good food for take-out. Decent quantity like most Chinese places for a good price. Service was pretty quick considering the amount of food we ordered.

We had good food at a good price and the service was fine. Can't ask for more than that (and we didn't have to walk far).

Any place that has a bar connected to it called the Dirty Donkey is pretty much white trash garbage! I ate there back in 1996 and the food was pretty good. But they did not move into the 21st century with good food.

If you are looking to eat old, dry, greasy food in a dirty place then this is the place for you. Asked for a high chair and there was dried food stuck on it. EW!! Terrible service, dirty, just disgusting. Please don't waste your hard earned money and health.

We got our food to go since the restaurant was very warm. Great food! The chicken was far superior to what I normally get anywhere else when ordering Chinese, noodles were just right, vegs were tasty, portions generous. My friend and I really loved it.

Food and wine for 3 for under $30 (wine comes in half-pint mugs), in what looks to be a converted outhouse. The owner is quirky with a good sense of humor. The place is full of locals, and that's always a good sign. Adjacent to the Dirty Donkey 'tavern' - a cool dive with a weird assortment of misfits -... More
