We had read reviews of Woody's and, after nearly missing it's location, we were glad we found it. The food was great, it's family run and they look like they work hard at providing good food. The furniture needed updating and the decor could be better but who cares if the food is good and the price is fair.

Woody's has closed and does not plan on re-opening. The food was quite good when they were open -- I am not sure of the reasons for closing

This is a good option in Oakhurst. Oakhurst doesn't have much. This place is small, but it's friendly and the food is pretty good. My favorite part of the meal was the soup. The whole New Orleans/Cajun theme and decor is a little bit forced and cheesy, but whatever. I can't imagine Oakhurst having anything much better. I feel like... More

Very busy small restaurant, with a cool vibe. Interior décor is also very busy. Service nice and friendly. I had scallops which were very fresh and huge, my partner had beef which was tasty although a little tough.

We found this gem of a restaurant and all food was homemade, plenty of it and the waitress really knew her menu. Place was empty when we arrived but do not let that put you off as the previous night it was reservation only. Place is simple inside but the food was gorgeous.

In the South Yosemite area, there is a great Cajun restaurant in the town of Oakhurst. The gumbo soup was excellent and the blacken Sea Bass was also. The flavors of the big easy was here in this mountain town. All Y'all will enjoy.

What a shame, we didn't even get to eat here. We weren't even acknowledged when we got there-had to track down the one and only overworked waitress and asked to be put on a list. Were told it would be 20 minutes although there were several open tables. Waited 45 minutes, still nothing. Went back in to remind them we... More
