Looking for simple "American" fare after a long day at Yosemite, we stopped here. The service was slow but the waiter was very friendly, attentive and apologetic. It was worth the wait. The food was excellent! We stopped again the next night and the same server (Kaylin?) remembered our drink order from the night before. He pushed an order from... More

I worked in the service industry for years, so it is very difficult for me to give a bad review of a restaurant. That being said - I was incredibly unhappy with our experience here. The food wasn't great, and we both woke up feeling uneasy to our stomachs the next morning. We skipped breakfast the next day because we... More

We have eaten here several times and have generally found the food to be not exciting (bland, dry, little taste) The restaurant itself is very cozy on the inside and looks like it would be great -- however we have not been impressed -- I am sure glad for those who have found it great. We think a change in... More

I have eaten in all types of Restaurants across the country, but I was EXTREMELY surprised about this gem of a restaurant! This restaurant was pleasing enough to look at, a treat for those with an appreciation for the kitschy touches inside, and the Hostess greeted us with a big smile and a hello. We were seated at a nicely... More

I've ordered and have enjoyed many steaks worldwide. This was the second best steak I've EVER had in my 40+ years of eating. No extra sauces or seasoning were required and would have actually diminished the perfection of flavors that melted in my mouth as I traveled to flavor heaven with each succulent bite. The service was top notch as... More

We enjoyed out meal. Food was good and our waitress, Laura, provided excellent service and conversation.

We were exhausted after driving from Minden, Nevada so decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The food was fine, not memorable, a bit expensive but the service was great. My son enjoyed his hamburger and fries, husband liked his tri-cut steak. We left the next morning and skipped a possible wait for breakfast so I can't comment on that... More

Service was good and the food was good as well. Full bar. Lots of dishes to choose from. My entree came with a side of brussel sprouts that wasn't listed on the menu - and my server didn't tell (umm - warn) me about - but they were good.

We stayed at the hotel and that was fine, but this restaurant was JUST THE WORST! We went in about 8am for breakfast so we could hurry out to see Yosemite. 1. Once we were finally seated, we waited forever for a waitress to take our drink order. 2. Once we ordered our food, it took forever for it to... More

Decided to eat here as I was tired from the drive and staying at the hotel next door. Big mistake. I ordered soup of the day, tomato basil, and the grilled cheese sandwich. The soup had bits of dried basil, obviously just added at the end, which made the soup "chewy", kind of like little pieces of cardboard with every... More
