Staying nearby we had breakfast here. Can't fault the food or the service. Maybe more pricey than some, thought the granola and fruit very overpriced.

Convenient to the BW next door, 25% discount but nothing to write home about. Friendly but overworked staff delivered toast very late in the meal.

This Restaurant would have to be one of the best I and my family have eaten at, the meals were well portioned and absolutely delicious. Coming from Australia we were not used to the wonderful generous sizes of the deserts, but that was OK as a doggy bag was provided, by the wonderful friendly staff. I would highly recommend this... We had visited Yosemite National Park that day and had left a little later than planned (because it was so beautiful in the evening). We were recommended to the Sweetwater Steakhouse but they were closed when we arrived. Just as we thought our dinner choices were out, we saw a light on at the restaurant next to the Best Western... Mike has done it again at the Yosemite Gateway Restaurant. He has been a favorite chef here in the Oakhurst community. His spaghetti is al dente with a wonderful sauce seasoned to my liking. The ciabatta roll was an excellent pairing with the juicy hamburger my husband ate and raved about. Our friends at our table split a huge order... More

We ate there for dinner and had the herb chicken and it was very good. We also got a discount and ate there for breakfast. All the food was well prepared. The staff was very friendly.

About 20 people for dinner. We gave the restaurant advance notice. We started in the very nice bar/lounge, and eventually moved to the dinning room, which was all set up for us. The food was good and lots of it! The poor server did her best, but it took nearly an hour for everyone to get their meal. Call us... More

Nice waiter but food was bad -- vegetables overcooked and mushy; fish bland and overdone. Maybe steak eaters would do better. Another problem for a restaurant attached to a hotel: kitchen closes at 9 p.m. We saw at least one weary-looking couple being turned away when they showed up a few minutes past 9. Bizarre decor that appeared to be... More

We used the bar and restaurant whilst staying at the hotel next door. The food was very good steaks particularly as were the breakfasts. The portions were rediculously large so don't have a starter. Nice bar with a good selection of local beers. The thing I really liked about it was that its used by locals who were great to... More

The food here was simple but delicious. If you are not a big eater you could easily share just one main meal (either at breakfast or dinner) between two people. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful. During the busy period on Saturday morning it did take quite a long time for our meals to come... More
