I ride with the American Legion Riders and we do a weekly Wednesday Lunch Ride. We decided to try Rancho Nipomo, I hadn't been there for a while. Service and food were awesome. My favorite is their pulled pork. We will go back!

Thank you TripAdvisor fans for pointing me to this place. What a delight. I'm certain this was the best hamburger I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, juicy and served on a very fresh bun. Under $4, but i could not have eaten any more. I'm not a big BBQ eater so this was a great alternative. There was a... More

Stopped by on the way between LA and Monterey. Perfect lunch stop. Wonderful Santa Maria Tri Tip and just a perfect meal. The sides were all done fresh and just right. Fresh rolls, fresh made slaw, fresh salsas. Everything was great. But the best part of an already excellent meal was the pulled pork. Smoked with the same red oak... More

It is off the beaten path, and maybe that makes it that much better. When we arrived the place was crowded, but manageable. we could hear live music greeting us as we walked to the restaurant. Everyone was smiling, amd eating and having a great Sunday afternoon at this sweet place. I love the simple and tasty food. There is... More

This is where to find the best BBQ on the Central Coast!!! High Recommendations! This was not my first trip to Rancho Nipomo BBQ, and won't be the last. This place is a little off the beaten path, but once you find it you'll never forget where it is. I ordered 2 BBQ Briskit Sandwiches, Fries, Onion Rings, 2 soft... More

I've visited the Central Coast many times via Hwy 166, but didn't know this place existed. If you are coming from Bakersfield on Hwy 166, when it meets Hwy 101, continue westward under 101 for a block, and on the right, there it is! If you are traveling on Hwy 101, take the 166 East off-ramp. They could really use... More

Where to find some of the best BBQ this side of the black stumps? Here's the place, in the middle of nothing in a way. You could easily think you took a wrong turn or received dud directions. Pork sandwich is seriously good, cole slaw is excellent, beautiful sweet potato fries, and the price is pretty damn decent for all.

I've never had a bad meal here. My favorite at the moment - Santa Maria Fries. French fries, covered in nacho cheese AND shredded cheese, topped with Santa Maria Style Tritip, ranch beans, and pico de gallo. Bring a crowd, this is at least a full meal for two, or a good appetizer for more. Burritos, hot dogs, pulled pork... More

My sister encouraged me to go on my way home to Northern California. I love to take the kids to new places that isn't fast food. What a treat this turned out to be! When we pulled up, a little worried at first, kinda felt like we were in the middle of no where, we were put at ease when... More

Just stopped at this quaint little stop off the 101 freeway - this was the best BBQ chicken hands down. And it happens to be the hometown of that immortal photograph of "The Migrant Mother"...gotta love California.
