My wife and I had lunch at this off-the-beaten-path restaurant last weekend. The parking lot was only half-full when we arrived at noon on a Saturday but when we left about 40 minutes later business was starting to pick up considerably. My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich and I ordered the Big Steak sandwich. My wife claims that hers was... More

Old school Santa Maria style steak house. Still in the 70's but I came here for the meal not the decor. NY steak (20oz) meal was enough for the two of us. Salad w/blue cheese was average. Garlic/parmesan toast was excellent. They were out of spumoni but the vanilla with chocolate sauce was just the right finish. Desert is part... More

I have heard of Jocko's several times over the years and finally went. While the food is good, particularly the steak, the fries were rather soggy, and the restaurant itself looks shabby and gross. Everything is sticky with a sheen of old grease on it. Definitely take the food to go!!

The main thing is they don't fix what ain't broke. Been the same for years. Never hear advertising on the radio but a full house all evening in the middle of the week. Get reservations. The only place where I have had a steak this good was The Cattlemen's in the stockyard in Oklahoma City!

If you don't have reservations, you can expecct a long wait! This place is a hole in the wall-looks like an old elks club! But...WOW! I discovered it 30 years ago, and finally got my husband there. He wants to move closer so he can have it weekly! The prices is amainlgy low, for a enormous cut of meat. The... More

Reservations are a must. We were there on a Wednesday night and place was packed. The best Lamb Chops ever. 3 large with all the fixings for $21.00!! Hubby loves the large Spencer (rib eye). Everything is cooked to perfection. This is a must go to place when we are in town visiting family.

If you are super hungry for good steaks, Jocko's is the place. Ordered the prime rib, had enough for three meals. I was impressed that the steak was tender for the size, since they had to make sure that it was cooked. I ordered it medium rare, and that is what I got, and it was great. I would advise... More
