Great spot

We were touring the back roads around the five cities and happened on the Cowgirl. Just before it closed. Friendly and fast service and great food. Kept the coffee coming. Used great bread. Much better than the chain places by CA 101.

I get together with a small group of retired guys for breakfast on Thursdays. We go to different places around the county. There is more than one Cowgirl Café. They are all great for breakfast and lunch. Depending upon which direction we are going, we'll go to Atascadero, Nipomo, or San Luis Obispo. They all do a fine job.

Ten of us rode our bicyles from Santa Maria to Nipomo ( one of our usual Tuesday routes) and decided to go to Cowgirl Cafe for coffee (which we had done the week before) Since it was a Tuesday around 10AM, we felt we would not be in the way since it was between breakfast and lunch. We were told... More

We had breakfast here a couple of times. Nice cowgirl atmosphere wit good food and fast service. A little tricky to find, but easy with GPS.

Was looking for a brunch stop and was hoping to find an independent joint. We stopped of here, thinking it looked independent, but were wrong. That said. The staff were friendly and the food fine. I wouldn't be searching it out again, but it was fine and nothing that you could say negative about. Just very average for me.

Pleasant service; good local crowd and very good breakfast omelets and pancakes. Cute décor that fits the name of the restaurant.

We go here from time to time. Always for breakfast. They only serve breakfast and lunch. Both are very good. The service is good the food is good and you get plenty of it. Sometimes it can be very crowded especially on weekends. I dont think they take reservations. But its worth the visit.
