Perfect and no room for silly complaints...

We dined at this place for a breakfast one morning and it was not crowded at all. That being said I have been here in the summer when it is chaotic and the only time you can really enjoy your experience is non meal time hours. The place gets crazy busy on the weekends and in the summer. The... read more

Interesting trip to get too as you park on the inland side of PCH and catch a shuttle bus. The food is really great, everything we had was wonderful. The autmosphere of being RIGHT ON THE BEACH makes it truly special. If your in the area you really need to go, even if just for drinks, which are also great.

The location is fantastic, too bad they had plastic curtains blocking the entire view from the outdoor patio. No bathrooms inside you have to go to another building across a bridge. Had lunch here in November, the weather was fantastic. You get a real California beach feeling, sand ,dirt ,grime, and all.

A true slice of California beach bum era. The restaurant is located directly on the beach and there are many beach cottages dotting the beach and cliffs. We went for breakfast which was very good. We order a giant Bloody Mary that had assorted veggies, a crab claw and a shrimp. Great place for kids too. We were glad we... More

I have never had a Bloody Mary this good. It could have been my meal. There was a huge shrimp, a crab claw, two cornichons, pickled carrots and string beans and a massive piece of celery. All served in a huge mason jar. So good. Breakfast was a chorizo turkey scramble. Very good and came with potatoes and black beans.... More

The restaurant is located in the midst of the Crystal Cove cottages - built in the 30s-50s, now rentals through the Park Service - and in front of a long stretch of beach. Park on the north side of PCH, then take a shuttle or take a short (5min.) walk down (under PCH, through a tunnel) a paved walkway. Book... More

This scenic location is a great place for lunch. The location in Crystal Cove State Park is gorgeous. The fresh seafood was delicious as were the signature cocktails. The service was very good. You have to park and take a shuttle to the location, so allow extra time.

The Beachcomber is worth a visit on any trip to Crystal Cove. The interior is cute and comfortable and the food is very good. The views are amazing and would be worth a visit even of the food weren't this good.

We visited the on beach restaurant-literally on the sand at NewportCoast which is a gorgeous venue steeped in history! My husband and I with our daughter in law and three children under age 9 had an early dinner . Food and service was great .. A little pricey but well worth the geographic and authentic venue!
