A better walk along the beach to a breakfast will be hard to find. We walked down from the State Park, s nice but steep walk. There is an alternatives. We had bloody Mary's, and a good breakfast. You come for the relaxing atmosphere and the magnificent views which included spying the passing whales. Then we enjoyed a nice walk... More

This is a lovely waterfront restaurant. It is worth the very long wait. Our service was excellent and so was the food. There are beautiful views of the water and Crystal Cove is a very interesting spot.

After a very positive experience 2 years ago, I couldn't wait to return to the Beachcomber Cafe at Crystal Cove State park. Unfortunately, this experience was not as positive. The view is still incredible, the location is amazing, validated parking for across the highway is perfect & helps you walk off your meal, the little cabins that you can actually... More

We love walking the beach here and then stopping in for breakfast. This is clearly a landmark for the community and the food is good and the views are amazing. They could improve their coffee, tastes like the stuff you get from an old diner and a burnt pot.

Tried this place for breakfast for the first time last month. We've been going down to Laguna Beach for years, but a staycation at the Resort at Pelican Hill prompted this visit. The cafe is in the Historic District of Crystal Cove State Beach. It's beachfront, along with some vintage cottages (both restored/rent-able and unrestored) and a little village. You... More

We made reservations for 3:30 in the afternoon. They served us lunch and we were all very happy with the food. The Burger was cooked to order perfectly and enough for 2.I ordered the Blue Crab Cake salad and it was fabulous. Our server Jeff was efficient and very fun. I had looked for the wine list on the web... More

The restaurant is in a rustic setting, but don't be deterred -- it was an excellent dining experience in all respects ... The wine selection is extensive; the menu is distinctive; and the service was superior ... Being located right on the beach, the views are exceptional ... It definitely merits a visit!

This is a convenient little place if you're staying at the nearby cottages. I'm not sure that I'd hassle with the parking and tram if I wasn't staying on the property. The beignets are a 'must have' and the other options weren't bad either. A little pricy for breakfast, but the view and ambience make up for this.
