Perfect Spot!

This place got everything right... Good food and perfect location! You can't go wrong with a café with beachfront views (and serving tasty food is just an added bonus)!

We come in the afternoon for the sunset one day, the cucumber Martinis were wonderful. Than two days later came for breakfast, it was fabulous . Service and food 5 star. And the view spectacular. Suggestion, come early for breakfast, long line when we got there. Beignets were out of this world.

We made a reservation a few weeks in advance to ensure we would get a table. We took the trolley there and walked back. This was a great way to experience both ways to get there. When we arrived we were seated right away. We were there on a Monday so during the weekend even more important to make a... More

When you park, you can take a trolley down to the restaurant or you can walk. The walk is kinda cool. If you are elderly or handicapped, it's not so cool but if you are able bodied it's an experience. The ahi tuna was excellent. So were the Parmesan Truffle Fries as an appetizer. Lastly, the bartender made a quality... More

The Beachcomber Cafe is on the shore of the Pacific Ocean in Newport CA. The venue is was a 40's retreat and the restaurant offers a great reason to visit the area and take in the sights. The food is a tad expensive, but very good, as is the service.

Crystal Cove has changed much in the last twenty years: housing developments sprang up above PCH, Ruby's bought the shake shack and the trailers were pulled from El Morro. Throughout it, the Beachcomber has maintained the essence of it's charm, even though the food is only a good execution of generic dishes. To be clear, the main selling point of... More

If you want an overpriced place to eat average food in a beautiful setting this is the place to go. You have to park across the highway where the restaurant does validate the parking but then you have to take a bus that costs $1 each way or take the long walk down hill to the beach and back up... This place exceeded my expectations. I was visiting from Las Vegas and wanted to eat at a restaurant that had a view of the ocean. The restaurant is actually on the beach. Being the first time visiting, I did not know where to park since the street is 50 or so feet above the restaurant. I parked at the park... More

Had two great experiences here on a recent trip here for work. The staff was very helpful in suggesting options. The food was really good! I ordered two different pancakes on my first trip. One was a mixed berry and the other was a banana and Nutella version. The location is right on the water and is very laid back... More

We heard about this place from a coworker and we were not dissappointed .You can't get any closer than this to dining on the beach. We had a great lunch and fairly priced. Sat on the deck overlooking the ocean .Service was quick and a nice and relaxing surrounding.

Thank mets79
