Stayed at the Marriott for my sisters birthday. She had eaten there before but it had been awhile. We spent $20 in taxi money to get there and even though I told them it was sisters birthday, they said it was a 2 hr. wait. So we ate in the bar and did not have access to the dinner menu,... More

Another anniversary celebration at The Beachcomber Café. Beautiful afternoon for our late lunch. We started with some signature Mai Tai's (s) that were incredible. We ordered the Calamari and then progressed with the Ahi Sandwich and Fish Tacos and both were very good. Since we arrived in the late afternoon, the beach was "packed" with beachgoers. The atmosphere was very... More

We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at this restaurant right on the beach. We sat outside and it was a gorgeous night. The service at this restaurant was top notch. You are just a few yards away from the shore line and we witnessed a spectacular sunset. For this area of the state prices were pretty darn reasonable. They do take... More

We love to go here and eat in the bar. WE would eat in the restaurant but it is always to crowded with long waiting times. This is a fun place with excellent drinks and appetizers. Try the cucumber cocktail. You will feel like you have traveled to a place far away and you only left your house in Newport... More

True, there is a wait. But you have a drink & watch the waves. Great food. We had the sea bass. Tasted like butter. Desserts are worth the calories.

What a setting!!! Not only that but delicious classy food. I had the filet which had great accompaniments and especially the Brussels sprouts I ordered on the side. It looks like a casual beach cafe but the food is like an elegant French restaurant. I would LOVE to go back but I live in London, England so it's a long... More

The Beachcomber Cafe has been a family favorite for over a decade. For weekend breakfast, we put our name on the waiting list upon arrival, receive a pager, and spend the 30-45 minute wait exploring the nearby tide pools. The time flies by and we are soon enjoying a tasty breakfast while taking in the beautiful ocean view. We also... More

We happend to find beachcomber when we where out on the beach and since that we have been there 6 times. The food is just so great abd the price isnt so bad. I higly recommend to start with the bingets, and for breakfast the benedicts are super tasty. Just remember to be there early because it is popular!

We took the Marriott Shuttle from our nearby villa, so convenient, our first time at The Beachcomber! The 15 minute wait for a table was not wasted - we took off our shoes and headed for the waves, amazing videos on my cell phone will be lasting, beautiful, fun memories! The location is spectacular, the restaurant itself is on the... More
