Best breakfast ever!

So happy Cappy's came up on Trip Advisor! I had almost forgotten about it since I left Orange County fifteen years ago. Best breakfast ever! Amazing Corned Beef Hash. Make sure you order the hash browns as well. Bloody Mary's is SPICY! Yum.

You name it they offer it. Thick sliced bacon, ham, lox. Eggs any style, 2 kinds of potatoes, several bread choices, pancakes. Burritos, plus the regular menu! Great sandwiches, salads, and more. They servings are LARGE, not measured out to the once like some places. This is where locals meet, now in summer many tourist. Service is as good as could... More

I was surprised to find lox and bagels on the menu. It is excellent and it could feed 2 if your a light eater like me. The waitresses and the ambiance are very old school Newport Beach, very fun and laid back.. Check out the photos on your to way to the restroom! Probably shouldn't say that in a food... More

The California omelet was really good. So much avocado. Pancakes were as large as the plate. Great place for breakfast. My son had a hamburger -- just alright. Stick with breakfast items. Will return.

We decided to go to the beach on Father's Day. As a part of that we decided to go r Cappy's Cafe, a small restaurant on PCH that we had passed many times over the years. The consensus was that things weren't bad; they were just bland. I got the machaca and eggs; one daughter got the chorizo and eggs;... More

Cappy's was right next to our hotel, so we ate there daily. The portions are huge, you'll easily have some left to take with you. They also have a wide variety of options, which was important for me. I was able to order a low-fat option that was delicious and filling. The egg white omelets are a must!

Ok.....I looooove Cappy's! Sure, you can get eggs or pancakes anywhere, but there is something about Cappy's that makes you come back again and again. First off, it is a total Locals Only type of vibe, without the snobby Locals Only attitude (and trust me, I'm from the beach.....I may be a part of that problem :) ) The moment... More

Stopped here on my way to play at the Whisky in LA. The breakfast portions are pretty big, a lot of parking so if you are towing a trailer you will have spots, the weather was great, and the malts are aweosmw .

I was a little worried that Cappy's would be Luke many of the quick cafes/diners....GREASY. Much to my surprise it WAS NOT. I had the eggs benedict and my Husband had the corned beef hash. Both were some of the best we have ever had!! Food came out quick, service was wonderful and prices were decent. Cappy's has it figured... More
