We visited for breakfast but you can have any thing you want from the menu. I had shrimp tacos. The serving size was big with beans and rice with the two tacos. My date had the half pound chilli burger which he said was very good.

Cappy's is one of the places that I take all of my out of town friends to! This is a classic Southern California morning breakfast place located on Pacific Coast Highway right on the border between Newport and Huntington Beach. If you drive too fast you might miss it, but it's well worth the stop! Keep in mind that parking... More

Been going to Cappy's for years. We take visitors there and they are always impressed with the food and service. The omelets are generous and fresh ingredients. I think I have had them all at one time or another and there are over 30. We have had lunch there and always come away full and happy. The waitresses are quick... More

Was here for lunch. Dry, tasteless chicken in Chinese Chicken salad and chicken noodle soup. Turkey sandwich on sourdough bread was dry as a bone. Bread was stale. Totally unacceptable. It was the coldest day of the year yet A/C blowing full blast from vent directly over dining room creating a strong cold breeze. I've driven by for years and... More

We went for a late Sunday morning breakfast before family left town, it was delicious! The servings were large and the food tasted fresh! The serves was amazing, the gals all seemed to cover all the tables! As for price, for this size of a meal, and the service, $58 for four adults was a great value! We would have... More

My friend took us here for a late breakfast. Generous portions and friendly, fast service. I had that eggs florentine, with fresh spinach. The french toast is the best dish served at our table. Just the right amount of cinnamon. I cannot rave enough about the great service. Our glasses were always full, and plates picked up promptly. Hopefully I... More

For breakfast, Cappy's Cafe is reliable, efficient and tasty, as the menu is vast. The atmosphere is frenetic during the weekend, so don't plan a leisurely meal. Members of the staff bumped into my chair at least a dozen times, although I could not be any more up close and personal with the table without lying on top of it.... More

Have you been to breakfest restaurants that serve humugus amounts of food that overflow your plate and then you take it home for left overs but the food is just average? The breakfest and lunches at Cappy's Cafe are large portions but tasty and you know they care about the menu and the custumers look at the line outside. Luckily... More
