Cappy's was right next to our hotel, so we ate there daily. The portions are huge, you'll easily have some left to take with you. They also have a wide variety of options, which was important for me. We decided to go to the beach on Father's Day. As a part of that we decided to go r Cappy's Cafe, a small restaurant on PCH that we had passed many times over the years. The consensus was that things weren't bad; they were just bland. I got the machaca and eggs; one daughter got the chorizo and eggs;... More

Ok.....I looooove Cappy's! Sure, you can get eggs or pancakes anywhere, but there is something about Cappy's that makes you come back again and again. First off, it is a total Locals Only type of vibe, without the snobby Locals Only attitude (and trust me, I'm from the beach.....I may be a part of that problem :) ) The moment... More

Stopped here on my way to play at the Whisky in LA. The breakfast portions are pretty big, a lot of parking so if you are towing a trailer you will have spots, the weather was great, and the malts are aweosmw .

I was a little worried that Cappy's would be Luke many of the quick cafes/diners....GREASY. Much to my surprise it WAS NOT. I had the eggs benedict and my Husband had the corned beef hash. Both were some of the best we have ever had!! Food came out quick, service was wonderful and prices were decent. Cappy's has it figured... More

The food was great here and quite inexpensive! They have so many choices and the breakfast was amazing! If you are staying at the Newport Channel Inn, it is a couple feet away and the perfect place for dining!

A relaxing and friendly local cafe serving breakfast and lunch. A large menu with lots of variety serving huge portions. My favorite is the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. The Corned Beef Hash is made fresh from scratch in-house. The friendly staff will make you feel like one of the family. Within walking distance from the beach and local hotels... More

This is a great spot for breakfast on PCH. I can't believe how many omelette options they have...tons of ingredients! The service is excellent and there is ample parking. It has a beachy feel, but you can go there in business attire and feel fine, too. If you don't like omelettes, there are a lot of other options to choose... More

Great Breakfast and celebrity sighting! Cappy's lived up to its reputation. So many wonderful choices for breakfast, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful waitstaff. We enjoyed the huge, tasty portions.
