Great fish and chips

We visited on a Friday night and the place was packed, but we found a spot in one of the pubs and received quick, friendly service right away. The food was excellent, and portions were large at a very reasonable price. I had the half-and-half fish and chips/shrimp and chips. They use snapper in... read more

Ive been here a few times and always find the atmosphere very comfortable, alternating between lively and relaxing. The food is good, so is the service, and its just a nice pub to sit and enjoy a beer.

The bar and restaurant feel like authentic UK fare - like walking into a movie set from the Fashion Islands surrounds - right down to the darts and brass everywhere - and Guiness is the house beverage - food is rich and tasty and plentiful - patio can be lively and chatty

We at at Muldoon's after a long day shopping at Fashion Island. The restaurant was pretty big. They had a large open atrium seating area as well as a sports bar and a classic Irish Pub. We ate in the classic pub section as it was a little quieter and reminded me of the 6 mos I spent in England.... More

I never thought I'd find a good Irish pub in Newport Beach, but I was pleasantly surprised by Muldoon's. The menu was excellent. I can recommend the appetizer bangers (sausages), the Irish Stew, the Pot Roast, and the corned beef sandwich, all of which were delicious, albeit somewhat overpriced - it is Newport Beach, after all. The desserts I sampled... More

Revisited an old favorite while in Newport Beach last week: Muldoon's. It's been a few years since I had last visited but the return was like seeing an old friend. Plenty to choose from while looking over the menu. Couple of must to recommend: crispy chips with malt vinegar instead of fries...and give the free soda bread a taste! Worth... More
