If you want pub food, beer and atmosphere you'll feel very comfortable here in a very authentic Irish Pub. The best thing here IS the service. We were lucky to get Scott as our waiter. He has the right amount of humor, and attention to detail that one would hope for. Prices are a little on the high side but... More

Interesting menu. Has traditional Irish fare but some tasty additional menu items that give this pub an edge. I tired a combination drink with two of my favorite drinks - champagne and Guinness. Quite tasty. The bubbles take a bit of the earthy edge off the Guinness and add effervescence to the concoction. When another guest's order walked by, it... More

A long time Newport Beach restaurant next to movie theaters.Service is ok, but the food is mass produced. For example, the corned beef was extremely tender as it was cooked all day (week?), but the carrots and peas were were unflavorful mush. The mashed potatoes were from a box. Very good fat food for people who want to get fatter!

We went to bar on a busy Saturday night, found one seat at bar. After 10-15 minutes of waiting for a bartender to acknowledge us, I said "hi" to see if that would get us a drink? I was told to wait a minute while the bartender asked the people next to us if they wanted another drink. That was... More

We had never been to Muldoon's and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was perfect for a pub. The beer and food was delicious and the staff was prompt and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant and it's right next to the movie theater!

The food here is amazing. When we go to Orange County, we typically stop here every time. Their soups are incredible and the atmosphere is authentic. Definitely put this on your list of places to eat.

Went for an after dinner drink and ended up staying for a couple of hours. The service was excellent. They had a live band, "Hollywood Blonde", which was pretty good so we stayed awhile. We will be in the area again in the spring, and we will definitely go back and try their food.

We were meeting friends to watch a band that was playing that night. We decided to go early for dinner. We sat in the outdoor patio as you walk in. It's a great setting and somewhat surprising considering what you would expect as you first enter. I had the Shepherds Pie and my wife had the Irish Stew. Both were... More
