Went to Tommy Bahama's for my Nephews 21st Birthday lunch. Food was out standing, service was awful. When we finally did get bread there were only 4 rolls, at a table of 5. we had to ask three times to get more bread, and again they only brought 4 rolls. I was so irriatated by the time we left, I... Our family of 4 had dinner here, all of our meals were delicious. They were very gracious and accomodating of our food allergies: peanuts, tree nuts and sesame. The service was outstanding. Thank you to Abraham, who was a chef on his break outside, for answering our questions about the restaurant which made us decide to try it. I highly... More

We hosted a ladies luncheon for about 10 women. It was a great way to start a festive weekend. Our table was secluded as we requested. I was surprised how tasty the food was given my only association with Tommy Bahama was clothes. Our waiter recommended the burger since it was a unique combination. I can't remember the exact combo,... More

We arrived on time for our reservation. The server seated us at a table right next to the kitchen/server station. My husband asked for another table. The hostess seemed put out and explained that there were none available. When my husband pointed out that there were empty tables we were told they were "reserved." Didn't we have a reservation, too?... More

We had a long day at Disneyland and decided to try Tommy Bahama's in Newport near where we were staying. It was a comfortable atmosphere, ... a very relaxed, with live guitar music. The service was excellent and the food was quite good. Some of the items on the menu are very expensive. For the best value, I ordered the... More

I called the restaurant after making reservations on Open Table. They said that there wasn't a corkage fee for the first bottle. They also didn't charge extra for Valentines dinner as most restaurants do. We also listened to great music by a solo guitarist. The food was excellent and the waiter was very attentive.

We met my family for dinner and had to yell at each other to be heard. Having said that, the food was excellent and drinks strong and tasty. The salmon and Swordfish dishes were delicious. We ordered the coconut martinis, yummy! They are known for their coconut shrimp appetizers as well. On a sour note, When we wanted to split... More

We had a fantastic dinner with great service. The menu choices are good and all the items we had were excellent. We loved the lobster grilled cheese with the heirloom tomato soup! Can't wait to go back!,

Fun to eat at, but pricey for what you get. The Steak Salad was outstanding and a good value the rest of the menu pricey and thus untried.
