First time visited my favorite clothing brands restaurant at Newport beach. Yes, they can make food also! We were group of 4 and all of us was happy with the food. Ladies with salads and gents with steaks. Service was very friendly and free wifi works well.

We love to visit Tommy Bahama's for Happy Hour and music. Sundays we love to go to the Laguna Beach location and enjoy more traditional menu items and listen to the live music. The food is always consistent no matter which Tommy's you go to and we've been to the one in: Arizona, Palm Springs, Hawaii, CDM, Laguna Beach and... More

Restaurant was nice inside, wood paneling. Live music on the night we went. All of the food arrived hot, including tortilla soup and tomato soup. The crab bisque was excellent. The coconut shrimp were good, but were a little over breaded. I had the grilled cheese lobster sandwich, it was very good and it also arrived hot! For this type... More

5 of us had dinner on a Thursday night. Even with reservations we had to wait to be seated even though the dining room was only a little over half full. Once we sat down our server was a little slow getting to us. Food was about average and not what I expected from a restaurant with it's chain reputation.... More

Tommy Bahama's is a cool place. Funky comfortable, hip and chic. Varied menu that starts with their "world famous" coconut shrimp (very good). Variety of fancy drinks, alcoholic or not, nice wine list. Had their totally awesome chopped chicken salad. Huge portion and unbelievable delicious. Wish I could find the recipe online. She had Ahi burger. Yummy good, very filling.... More

My family ate dinner in the dining room on Saturday night. The service was great and the ambience is inviting. There was live music which was great and not too loud. We had coconut shrimp as an appetizer...delicious! The tacos are great! We ordered the blackened fish and ahi tacos. We also ordered the Mahi Mahi which was cooked to... More

Sat in the bar and enjoyed Happy Hour. Relaxing and nice atmosphere. The bartenders are either to focused on restaurant orders or something because you need to ask for another drink. Questionable service. Bartenders are nice when you get their attention. The coconut shrimp are good.

This place is located in the shopping strip, so be aware that parking during lunch it can be a bit of a challenge so give yourself a few minutes to find parking, however, once you walk into Tommy's it's so relaxing and the staff is very friendly. If you go, ask to be seated on Valerie's station, she is ALL... More

My wife and I had two separate meals at this restaurant in August, both of which were just great. I had just the coconut shrimp appetizer plus an order of sweet potato fries. Perfect. My wife and I were well pleased by the wait staff, their attentiveness to pleasing the customer, and insuring a very friendly and courteous approach to... More

Sat at the bar and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Bartenders were friendly and attentive to things such as making sure water glasses were kept filled. The signature drinks have a tropical flair to them. I tried one called an Old Sailor, which was ok. I didn't expect it to be great, but was curious. I ordered the American... More
