Good Seafood

This is a good place for seafood, if you don't like the paper plates at other seafood places. Make a reservation, because the wait times are long, and they cater to the locals. So expect to see a local seated before you, even though you were there 30 minutes before they arrived.

My wife and I ate at the Bluewater and were more than pleased with the atmosphere, service, and the food. We both had excellently prepared fish dishes. Which is no small compliment for us to say. But the chefs are clearly experts with seafood. I would strongly recommend for couples who enjoy seafood. Most plates were in the ~25$ range.... More

Other than our waitress, who was very nice, there wasn't much else to like about this restaurant. The interior ambiance is ho-hum....you might as well hit up Red Lobster. Maybe the outdoor patio is better? I ordered the "simply grilled" Mahi-Mahi and asked for a side salad instead of the two "sides" that came with the dish. When my plate... More

The was a very nice restaurant - not a Michelin candidate, but certainly a cut above most waterfront seafood restaurants (like the nearby, overpriced Cannery). Recommended for lunch with a good selection of the usual choices, nothing in the foodie category, but a good tho limited wine list. Excellent service, and a nice interior waterfront décor.

We have been coming to this place for years and never tire of any item on the menu. On our recent visit, we had red snapper and burcatta and each item was perfectly prepared and presented. The wine list is well presented and the selections reach all price points. Service is quite good although spread thin at times.

This restaurant was recommended by a local, for lunch. It was quaint and delicious. My husband daughter and I ate out on the patio..had great service and plenty of hot French bread..hubby had pot of steamed clams, it was loaded with clams thinking more than 2 doz...he was in heaven. Daughter had blackened fish tacos which she really enjoyed. As... More

I have been to the Bluewater many times in the past but my recent visit was disappointing at best. Service was good (it was a weeknight) and we sat outside on a warm February night, so that was all good. Food, however, was average to poor. The krab cakes, and I am spelling that with a "k" for a reason,... More

Loved this place! We had a wonderful lunch here. The food was amazing, service was friendly, and the setting on the water was remarkable. I had the lobster roll and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend Bluewater Grill!

They had no Australian lobster tails, no large crab legs, and their side dishes were not great, but fair. For a restaurant that has been around for so long, I would expect great seafood, not average. The service had a lot to be desired, had to wait 10 minutes for tartar sauce. I will not go back there.
