We love dining at Roy's on all of the Hawaiian Islands, but for some reason, our local Roy's never measures up to the great food and service we experience on Maui, Oahu, and Kauai. The food and service just isn't that great at the Newport Beach location. My husband and I have dined there together, have met friends there for... More

A friend and I went to Roy's for dinner while visiting California. Everything I got was fantastic and cooked perfectly! Service was great, we sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly and the waiters/waitresses who would pick drinks up were very friendly also! I got an Ebi Roll, which was amazing! It had coconut, shrimp tempura, avocado, and... More

I have eaten at several Roy's locations a never been disappointed. The NPB location was no exception. I went there twice in one week I enjoy the food so much. The calamari is about the best I have eaten. I enjoyed the Butterfish for mu entree one night and the Ahi tuna the second visit. The waitstaff was excellent, Jesse... More

I have been to Roy's in NPB for the 15th time, this time with my family to celebrate our last night out in OC, after spending a week in Huntington Beach. Although the local chef had a tasting menu as a special treat, we decided to go for a blend of sushi starters and seared ahi tuna. The signature dish... More

Select menu. Mostly small portions. Everything is very tasty. Menu does change from time to time. Only in the bar area. Wagyu burger with sunny side up egg excellent. Ebi Roll very good. The Red Curry Chicken Samosas good. Mango Mojito excellent....1988 drink sweet and strong. Hawaiian Martini very good.

We went for my Dad's 75th Birthday and what was nice is when you opened the menu - 16 menus - they inserted a Happy Birthday Greeting. It's nice personal touch. The food was very good. Depending on what you order the price can range from $10 to $50 per meal. The kids menu was $12.95 and it includes their... More

We had a group of 30 customers for dinner during a larger business meeting. The service and food were excellent. Very good reviews from everyone who attended. It was located about a 10 minute walk from the Marriott hotel on the opposite side of Fashion Island, which was fine for most to walk. Ladies in high heels preferred a short... More

What a wonderful way to end the weekend. A great Sunday evening menu highlighting a Turf and Surf dinner special within the ambiance of Hawaii. Reasonably priced, great service, and very tasty. Must come back soon and is already on my favorites list.

Roy's Las Vegas is one of my favorite restaurants. This Roy's is good but not as good as Vegas. The filet mignon just doesn't taste the same but it is still good. Sushi was about the same & really good. Service was excellent!

This is the 6th Roys I have visited and I was not disappointed. Very good food, very good service. The only downside was a couple of screaming children, but it didn't last long.
