We had a company dinner here at Christmas time and the food and view was wonderful. The food is very tastey and great presentation. You can watch the boats in the harbor which are decorated in Christmas themes in December.

one of the best restaurants in orange county. unfortunately the guy who owns joes crab shack down the street bought it and he is going to redevelop it. if he had any clue what he was doing, he would leave villa nova as is and tear down joes crab shack - an awful restaurant in every sense - and put... What I love about this place is their wine seek. They have a really good one. 1983 Ch. Margaux at $550 is quite a bargain in the restaurant. A good vertical of Masseto at around $5-650 is also very good. Food is ok , nothing is spectacular but the wine is.

Thought it would be a good and appropriate time to have dinner at Villa Nova, in view of the fact the place is up for sale auction shortly. We had Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmigiano...which was excellent. The server Cliff, was a real pro and was a real character. Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner experience. Give it a 5 Star rating!

We noticed the building on our way from the hotel to the pier earlier in the day, and I took a photo of it because it was so pretty. When we got back to the hotel we were trying to decide where to eat, and remembered the photo we had taken. It was about 9:30pm but they were happy to... More

Originally it was a restaurant at Sunset Strip. It was the place where Joe DiMaggio had a blind date with Marylin Monroe. However,in it was moved to Newport Harbor. I love this restaurant. Live music and great food and wine. It is opened late. Gnocchi with Italian sausage, Lobster Fettuccine, Osso Buco and Scallopine Piccante are my favorite dishes. Done... More

My husband and I usually eat at our usual haunts..... Nick's, Javier's, Rock-n-Fish, Gulfstream BUT we wanted to try something different for our 1 Year Anniversary and we loved it! We thought it would be an older crowd since the restaurant has been there for such a long time but it was just the opposite. We had a reservation and... More

Went for Christmas Eve dinner! Sat us at the window during sunset... very nice. Great food. Prices are comparable to any other Italian restaurant. Certain dishes are a little high, but still a nice place. Worth every penny if you're out for a romantic evening.

I've been to this restaurant twice now and can't wait for our third visit in January. A fine dining experience that one remembers long after leaving the restaurant. On the pricey side, so if people are on a budget, they might want to limit their visits to special occasions (or early bird!). This is Newport Beach, so will probably need... More
