My wife had angel hair pasta with rock shrimp. Loved it. I had the wild salmon with broccoli and buttered penne pasta. Absolutely delicious. We will be coming back soon. Nice little shopping area to browse while waiting for the restaurant to open.

The service and setting was fine, but the food was very average at best and that is being kind. The calamari appetizer and linguine with clams were not good and the scallops and ravioli were only ok.j

Great meals always at Ameilas. I love the fresh seafood, fish and homemade pasta. My special favorite is the Calamari Ameila, nothing like it. Fresh catches of the day are always great. The Lobster Ravioli are great as well, homemade and hose specialty. Great service by our favorite server, Lisa. Great selection of wine and a nice quaint atmosphere.

It is right on Balboa Island main street and very easy to get to, except the parking, of course. The food is great and you do not go home hungry.

We come to Amelia's often, like most of the residents of balboa Island. Food is consistently fabulous and price is reasonable. This is definitely a favorite local hangout. this is a great place to take your wife out for dinner, for birthday party, just dinner with a bunch of friends. We closed a most important business deal in the restaurant... More

My favorite restaurant in this part of the world. This is small place so reservation are highly recommended. Six tables. Exquisite food, impeccable service. Good wine list and tempting desserts.

This is a quaint, well established restaurant in the area with warm reception, great homemade Italian faire and friendly servers. The antipasto salad was divine.....possibly the best we've ever had. Delicious Italian meats, mozz cheese balls, coarsely grated parm, stuffed green olives, artichoke hearts, crisp lettuce and chopped tomatoes.....! : ) Our entrees were magnificent (although mine could have been... If you can find a place to park, the island has lots of shops and restaurants. We went to try Amelia's after reading some reviews. We had a reservation at 7 and got right in. It is a small restaurant and by the time we left people were standing in line. We had the seafood specials and it was good.... More
