We took advantage of Newport Beach's Restaurant Week to re-visit the Cannery. The food has always been wonderful. But when you add in some of the food and wine specials during Newport Beach's Restaurant Week, it is really a deal. We arrived with no reservations at 11:50AM on Monday. There were already a number of people waiting to be seated.... More

For my husband's birthday we decided to revisit the Cannery restaurant in Newport Beach CA. I was surprised he chose this because the evening before we went to a different seafood restaurant with friends. We usually like to vary the type of food we have but he said he wanted to enjoy a quiet meal with far superior quality than... More

On a previous visit in the evening I found this restaurant quite "serious" and a little dated but on a Sunday lunchtime on the deck it is a different place with friendly staff, good views of people messing about in expensive boats, and very tasty food. The burger is good as is the fish and chips. For those not driving... More

The Miso Soup is the best. Also highly recommend the ahi tuna tartare fish tacos and the shishito peppers. Happy Hour is a wonderful way to sample the menu.

I only wish we went earlier in day when we could enjoy the view. Food was excellent. Pricey but worth it. Husband's swordfish was one of best he's ever had. Would love to return and enjoy casual drinks upstairs.

We were in Newport Beach for a few days and happened to find this restaurant. We ordered drinks and were pleasantly surprised the menu. I had kung pau chicken and it was delicious. My friend had the scallops with brussell sprouts. They were so great.

wonderful views at the harbor in Newport , Had a lobster roll and a delicious salad with fresh seared ahi. A nice and warm touch was the added bonus of a birthday desert, choclate center, and sauce. Thank you

We ordered drinks and edamame straight away. All was wonderful and our server, Charlie, was extremely informational and educated about the menu. We loved everything we ordered. The fish tacos are to die for and the sushi left me speechless. Parking lot available. Metered Street parking is free after 6pm. Can't wait to go back!

An awesome place to take a date to or to bring your friends to. Best seafood ever and for the oysters lovers, I say it's a must. Have I mentioned the exceptional view?
