I loved the fresh Naked Guacamole and the ceviche we had to start. My quesadilla entree was great too. Fun atmosphere right on the water and friendly waiter.

I ate here with a large group and while my dinner of battered fish tacos weren't amazing, I think the place had potential. Others in the group got Kobe steak, and Carne Tacos and had better experiences. Salsa and Guacamole were good, waiter was awesome, service was great, and atmosphere was perfect.

This place had amazing, fresh, Mexican food. Absolutely delicious! The carnitas were scrumptious, and everything was homemade. Excellent service, and an unpretentious atmosphere. Amazing!!! Great, fresh good gets my vote every time:) I wish I could eat there everyday!

My parents arranged to have my brother's graduation party at Sol Cocina. The restaurant was not ready for us and the organizer of the event did a horrible job setting the expectation with the staff for the day. Via email they had agreed to give access to the area 30 minutes before the guests arrived to start decorating. Unfortunately, there... More

Great location & great staff. I enjoyed my food and drinks. We were there for a business dinner w/7 people. No wait times, fast service. Food was great. 2 members of the group that had Rib Eye steak felt it was over cooked - they wanted rare. But the staff was more than happy to re-do the order and even... More

This place came as a recommendation and I thought would be too "hip" or trendy or whatever. However atmosphere and clientele s well as prices were very comfortable and I had a blast. Drinks were great and the staff was happy and helpful throughout. We had brunch and both selections were fresh, hot and delicious ( kinda like our waitress..wait,... More

We ate at Sol Cocina for dinner on Saturday evening at 7. The restaurant sits on the bay so the window seats all have great views of the boats and bay. There were five of us - my husband, my daughter (13), her friend (13), my son (11) and me. I highly recommend reservations at that time of the day... More

Went on Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. Great atmosphere with nice decor and views. Loved all of the Tacos especially Vampiro. Food is fresh and tasty. Also had nice deserts. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Wow. The service, atmosphere and food was amazing. The waiter really took an interest in where we were from, and recommended a local attraction. The tapas style starters were delicious and everything was just outstanding as far as taste and presentation. We will be back next time we visit LA.

Sol is a beautiful see-and-be-seen restaurant with a fun crowd. The chips and dip are unreal and drinks you'll crave all week. But honestly, you'll get a better taco out of a food truck, if that's what you're really looking for.
