This restaurant was recommended to us by locals as a real Mexican experience. It did not disappoint! The place was packed on a Tuesday evening at 6:30 and we were lucky we had reservations. Was recommended by folks at Newport Coast Marriott Villa's, what a great place, it had a nice atmosphere and the food was top notch. The wait staff was welcoming and attentive. The food was prepared to our liking and I especially the grilled burrito. Would come again.

Requested a window seat, got it/used Open Table to reserve...Ordered Farmer's Market Margarita, a fresh fruit beverage. It was served in a tall glass and very good. Dinner was fish tacos/carnitas. Carnitas was served w/corn tortillas, 5 warm tortillas was plenty and the carnitas were very flavorful...our waiter JC was entertaining and always kept checking on what we needed. He... More

We trusted several online reviews and walked in with a party of five for lunch. As the day was warm, we were seated on the patio, which has a nice view of the harbor. They have a great drink menu - we had the house margarita and one of the guys had a frozen beer. Started with an amazing warm... More

Sol has amazing food. Highly recommended. At brunch my go to is the papas papi, and dinner always varies. The ceviche with the fruit and habaneros is amazing. Make sure you order the coconut calamari. It is soooo friggin good. A must have at every visit. Taco Tuesday is extremely busy. Make a reservation if you can, if not, you... More

I had the fresh fish grilled tacos. So tasty!!! The chips come with salsa and refried black beans. Great margaritas and warm ambience. The service was fantastic. We had a table of 10 adults and 5 kids. Not a problem.

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday , reservations seemed easy since it was during boat parade I was not sure how crazy busy they would be . I personally loved they had valet so I was driving around looking for a spot.... We were seated unfortunately in a center table quite close to hostesses and since they left there... More

Sometimes, you want a really really good skirt steak. The one here was so tender, and flavorful. Loved everything else, and the service was top notch. The server we had was hilarious, professional, and made it a nice time. I was there with a big group for business. Would love to go back if I'm in the area!

for a bit of ambiance, good food and nice scenery, I would recommend that place. The waitress took time to run us through the best suggestion of the menu and we didn't regret our choice. The prices weren't too bad even if a bit upscale. Lots of work 5 to 7 related groups which gives a casual corporate feel. Great... More

Coming from El Paso TX, I decided to try out this Baja flavor theme restaurant. It was very good, lots of taco and flavor variations. Delicious duck tacos!
