$5 mimosas, need I say more? :)

Friendly and attentive brunch service. We were quickly shown to a table and offered drinks, which included their $5 mimosa special. Yum! Huge pile of free chips and dips. We could have finished them alone and not needed a meal! Big brunch portion of chorizo and scrambled egg. Really filling and... read more

Every time I'm near LA I make the drive to eat here. So delicious! Vegetarian order suggestions: black bean and butternut squash tacos- these are my favorite tacos in the world. So delicious and filling. Tip- order the meal, then you get two tacos, rice and beans. Also a fun assortment of unique margaritas. Tip- go during happy hour for... More

We had a fabulous lunch at Sol Cocina on a quiet Monday. We started with Margaritas and frozen beer and the goat cheese, honey appetizer with wonderful crispy chips. The menu is so extensive, it's hard to decide what to get, but I opted for one shrimp taco dorado with a side of beans and rice. Another of our party... More

This place has great atmosphere, it's a waterfront restaurant, with complemantery vallet. The food has a different taste than most Mexican food resturants, but still good. The servers are really good, and have the best suggestions if needed. You have to stop by for dinner, and a drink.

I brought my nephew here who was visiting from the Midwest - our server was excellent - we never waited for anything and the food was delicious - we had a booth facing the water so we had a view as well - food was a little pricey but well worth it

Tried this restaurant after seeing about it online. We went for the water views, but found the food to be great. The Naked Guacamole was the best I have ever had. The Shrimp Torta and Duck Tacos were great. The Duck tacos can easily be enjoyed without the tortillas, the sauce is great. The black beans and side salad were... More

I visited Sol for the first time yesterday at lunch with my office colleagues. The food was excellent and the server was attentive but it took quite a bit of time (about 30 minutes) to get our entrees despite the fact that there were not many people in the restaurant. I would return because the food was very good. Hopefully... More

I thought the place was a bit loud. The acoustics are a bit too much with the live band playing so close to everyone eating. The place was very crowded for Sunday brunch so we went outside on the patio. A bit hot but much quieter. Good food and service. Prices are a bit high for what you get though.

My family, along with some friends had a great supper at Sol Cocina this past week. The burritos were excellent and the black bean dip is out of this world. We will have a meal there again in the not so distant future.

The good - the place is nice inside. It is and, complete with boats just outside your window, the air is right for romance. However, it stops there. When we went for dinner, the place was dead, dead, dead on a Sunday night (we were told a huge party just cleared out). Good. We can hear ourselves talk. My gorgeous... More
