Celebration Dinner

We went to Sabatino's after two of our friends recommended we go there for their homemade sausage. We made a reservation for two on a Saturday night and we were greeted right away. There was a gentleman outside I believe his name is Pete and he was singing which I thought was really nice. The host... read more

My niece told me about this family Italian restaurant. Lovely homey place with a very friendly staff. Our table had the pizza, to die for, (will order this next time) taste like Italy. Rigatoni with meat sauce and a side of sausage, very good. The swordfish special was good and fresh and the sausage ravioli with 3 sauces was wonderful.... More

Their entire selection is great but their homemade sausage is fantastic. We work close to their location and enjoy their food on a regular basis. You can eat light (salads) or eat like you're in the old country. A must try when in Newport.

I used to live in Newport and frequented here a lot. For just date night, birthday or holiday parties, you can't go wrong. Now, whenever I'm in town, this is a definite must to hit before I leave. I have had a couple of things on their menu, but 9 times out of 10 I get the Pasta Roll. Unbelievable!... More

Has sausage as appetizer, great stuff. Enjoyed full course meal with veal. Tasted great. Beer selection need improvement. But even with that issue still a great place worthy of repeat business.

From food to service this is one of my top 10 places to eat at the beach! Well, they are not exactly ON the beach but if you are in Newport Beach or even close, this is a must stop place. Every single thing on the menu is excellent! Also -- you can order sausage to take home and cook... More

Sabatino's is the closest to authentic Italian food you can get in Newport. The restaurant is little and set back off the beaten path. I've had many different menu item's but the sausage sampler as an appetizer and the chicken picatta are my favorite. I suggest going during the holiday's since they decorate the restaurant up with a large tree.

Sabatino's serves hearty Italian food (famous for their sausages) in a relaxed atmosphere. Hard to beat eating outside near the sailboat dock on a beautiful So Cal day. Lots of locals visit. The service was good and we finished everything on our plates. Dinner for three with drinks was about $70 - $80.

Sabatino's is a sausage restaurant - for dinner, I'm told that the pastas and pizza are very good, but we were there for breakfast/brunch. At breakfast, a buffet with a nice selection of fresh fruits and side items is included in your order. These were very fresh and tasty. Your main order is delivered to your table; they have a...
