great stop for special occasions

A well served delicious meal. Good sized portion that were cooked perfectly to order. Not exactly a value place but at least you were not disappointed with the experience. The piano lounge was jumping next door is you wanted some fun after dinner

Went to the Bayside with some friends and as soon as I walked in, was struck by the nice decor and ambiance of the place. It was the evening the electricity went off, and I was shocked with their causal attitude, like a bunch of kids, it wasn't their fault type thing. My friends had ordered for restaurant week..not cheap,... More

There are some places where people go only to eat. There are other places where people go to have a dining experience. Bayside has been known as an upscale restaurant and in my several previous visits, has provided an enjoyable dining experience. Consequently Bayside was a simple choice for our group of seven, each of whom was celebrating a special... More

We had a lovely dinner here for a party of 4. Everyone raved about their food. I had the duck which was excellent It was a very generous portion so I ended up taking half home. The others had Chilean Sea bass, filet mignon, and sirloin steak. We were celebrating our daughters birthday so they brought a complimentary chocolate cake... More

I would say over all this place was worth the visit. The service was excellent, though a few errors happened along the way. I will say that the price is high for the quality of food received. This is expected in this extremely spendy region of California, but overall, I would try a few other places before coming back here... More

Four of us had lunch here today, for a Christmas get-together, and were disappointed in the service, the noise, and the food. Granted, a Friday with many office parties happening, so the reason for the noise, but the service was almost unacceptably slow, having to ask for one coffee refill several times. My squash soup was presented nicely, but not... More

We arrived at 5pm on a Sunday. Parking lot was nearly empty, but they still required that we valet park the car. A bit strange considering we had already parked. We were seated by the hostess, but she didn't leave us any menus. It was about ten minutes before we got menus. The waitress was new and kind of unsure... More

The restaurant is in a great location for dining with friends and for special occasions. The music and ambience is lively and the bar is great for meeting people but a little loud.Unfortunately when you are paying over $100 for two people for dinner, you are to expect excellent food from the kitchen. I had the shrimp rissoto, which can... More

My wife & I have dined here many times. The food is consistently delicious. Service is attentive. You can dine in the dining room or the bar side. We prefer the bar side; it's lively with pretty good jazz. Worth your time. A very pleasant dining experience.

This place was excellent, the appetizer was very cute and delish. The presentation of the food was my favorite. We had the filet mignon "sweetheart" style. I would definitely recommend this location. You get what you pay for...
