My daughter and I ate at Flemings in Newport Beach last night. We were brought through the restaurant and sat in a quieter part of the restaurant, which we were happy about. As I sat down, my chair nearly fell over side ways. There was a utility hole in the floor, and the cover was off and one of the... More

I tried my first dry aged rib eye steak. my first ever dry aged steak! $54, ouch. it was good, tried my wife's filet mignon, it was good. the place was nice, service good. but the size of the booth tables is ridiculosly small. too small for 4 people! for such a high end steak house, to have tables so... In a crowded Steak marketplace, it is Fleming's service and 100+ wines by the glass make it stand out.

I enjoyed the food and the wine, but price was extreme for the food quality, service and ambience. The price was high although we ordered wine from the less expensive offerings. We had loud children near us, and we waited to eat dessert for the coffee to arrive. I have to have better value. I won't pay extra to say... More

I'm giving them three stars because the food and wine were delicious. The service here left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than the manager coming over to ask how our food was, we didn't see much of anyone else working there. They weren't that busy and yet we had to keep looking for our waiter when we needed... My husband and I went to Fleming's to celebrate our wedding anniversary and couldn't be happier with our experience. I mentioned it was our anniversary in the reservation and we were overwhelmed with how many people not only came by to wish us a happy anniversary, but went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.... I am not one for trendy and expensive meals, overall. I have been fortunate enough to have gorgeous meals in gorgeous locations all over the place. So for me to wander out locally and spend $200.00 for dinner with my beau (excluding wine)...is just not necessary. With customers in town we decided to go to Fleming's and with the company... More

Flemings at Fashion Island has been a consistent winner for our family when we just want a great traditional steak dinner. I've been here for business events - they seem to do a good job of managing small-to-medium sized business groups (particularly in the private room downstairs). The also have a good brunch, which, while pricey, is a good choice... More

The Sunday Prime Rib dinner includes a fantastic hearts of lettuce salad with bacon and blue cheese, a slice of prime rib that is as good as you can get anywhere, a vegetable (we always get the creamed spinach because it is unbeatable), and a desert (the Walnut Turtle Pie is delicious). All this for $39.95!! A great meal at... More

Ate at the bar and most staff was nice apart from the bald guy. He is moody and selective in his service and thinks he owns the bar. If you don't like to serve people find another job! Apart from this other guys were great but it spoiled my appetite.
