The meat ravioli are there secret and they taste amazing. All pasta dishes as well and the tuna are very good, too.

A wonderful restaurant on Pacific Coast Hwy. The Pescado Linguini outstanding. Wine selection very good. They provide fresh bread and a dipping sauce made with garlic, olive oil, Parmesan, spinach, pesto, etc. that is to die for. My only complaint is that it can get noisy inside but well worth it. Service is also excellent.

Our large party really enjoyed our dining experience at Cucina Alessa in Newport. We were accommodated with a reservation on short notice, table ready on time and the service was very good. Food was fresh and portions of good size to large. The chicken stuffed tortellini was excellent but I changed the sauce to alfredo which was a nice balance... More

Cucina Alessa has a great menu, with many wonderful choices. Antipasto combo of three cheeses and three cold cuts was our starter: burrata, burrata with ricotta, parmesan and proscuitto danielle, Italian ham, and spicy soppressata. All were excellent. We crafted a pasta combination for a second course that included the ricotta and spinach ravioli, lamb al sugo, and fettucini alfredo.... More

We were intially looking for Eat Chow, but could not find it and opted for Cucina Alessa. I was quite pleased that we did. Our server David was very attentive, informed us of the specials for the day, and answered our questions about some of the wine selection we were interested in. Not only were our dishes beautiful in presentation,... More

Attached to a liquor store and on a busy highway, the lights of parking cars shined through the window on our table. My tortellini pasta was hard and undercooked and my wife's pasta tasted like cardboard. Had heard this place was good, but it is not. Will not come back. :(

This easy to locate restaurant has little parking and a crowded dining area. The waitstaff might have been good, and the food might also have been good, but we were overwhelmed by the noise level (on a Sunday night). The table next to us eventually complained and were moved to another room that was starting to vacate. Another woman complained... More

An old reliable favourite - avoid weekend nights as there is always a line... much better for Sunday lunch/breakfast/brunch. Service is always excellent, the menu always has something for every taste and appetite. Lovely wine list. Patio on a sunny day is a delight... you can smell the ocean air while enjoying delicious Italian fare. What could be better!

Had reservations for a b-day dinner. After 45 minutes still no table--was promised a patio table in "15 minutes"--never happened!!! Had to sit at the bar next to the bathroom...........bad form. Had to beg and chase the help for menus..........food, meh. Although I ordered a pasta dish with eggplant, I don't think I actually found one, just the skin. WILL... More
