I know the food cost in CA is more compare to any other state still I am tot satisfied with the spread. Very limited option for both veg and non veg. Taste is below par for the price they charge. At least they should increase their non veg to 3 items from 2 for the weekend buffet.

Saffron was an unexpected surprise for us as we were looking for a new food adventure. Plenty of natives eating which is nearly always a good sign. I tried the mango curry because I love mango and the sweet-spicy blends. Ordered it with chicken because I thought it pairs well with mango... and this was indeed a great pairing. Wonderful... More

This Indian restaurant in a suburban shopping center was an unexpectedly pleasant find as we were staying at a nearby motel and had no idea what restaurants were nearby. We happened across Saffron by chance and are glad we did. All the dishes (vegetarian) we tried were very good ... I've eaten at many Indian restaurants and I'd say that... More

Canned veggies, dry chicken, nothing fresh, tasteless. A disgrace to be called Indian food. Not recommended.

I visited this Indian theme rest for the lunch buffet while on a business trip. The food was good, plenty of selection. I have been to lots of similar buffets and I found the quality at Saffron to be about average for these types of buffets. I would recommend it and would go again.

The food was incredible at the lunch buffet. Beautiful to see, smell, and taste, and an excellent variety of choices. The service was a bit spotty at bill-time, but did not diminish the experience.

Amongst many Indian Restaurants I have visited in Ventura County, Saffron is definitely amongst the better ones. This is a family owned business - must haves here are the chicken curry and chicken vindaloo - authentic Punjabi and Goan tastes. The Roti bread here is the softest I have had in the US - freshly cooked and brought hot and... More

As an Indian food lover - I loved this restaurant. The food was excellent and tasty, the service was very good - and if you love Indian food - this is the place to eat. The restaurant was at full capacity, which is a good proof of good food.

This place is right near the hotel I was in so decided to try it one night. I like Indian cuisine but am not experienced with all the various dishes so its a bit of an experiment for me. I ordered a dish that offered various flavours and chicken called Saffron non vegi Thali. It was quite good with curry... More

We sampled several flavors of naan, and though all were tasty, the garlic naan was the best; however, the sole reason to visit this restaurant is the butter chicken. Seriously, try the butter chicken. Even the leftovers were tasty.
