Sit under a beautiful tree.

Open only for breakfast/Lunch until 3pm, this is a wonderful place to sit outside under the spreading canopy of a beautiful tree. I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious and the lemonade is awesome, not too sweet or processed. What a way to while away an hour.

Just went back to Ike's after a few years of not eating there. It's usually pretty crowded and doesn't serve your run of the mill breakfast. There menu is huge and somewhat daunting which I imagine it is for the cooks as well. Food was good, but not great. I have to compare it to South Pine Cafe in that... More

Ikes is the best place to eat organic food. The do want you to pay cash or check. No credit cards. Every thing is fresh made there from great pancakes to oysters. Ike is the kindess person and out door seating is the best. Tiny inside

Ike's was recommended to us by a store owner. We put our names in and were told 45 minutes. We went to walk around this adorable gold rush city, and explore. When we returned, we waited another 30 minutes! We were hungry, and looked forward to dining in the garden under a cool shade tree. We likened ourselves to the... More

New Orleans-style food, with a California flair. Organic in many cases. We chose to sit outside, under a widely spreading tree. It was a warm and sunny day, so we were very comfortable. We had to skip dessert because of time, but I would have gone for the Rose Shake! For a large lunch, I ordered the Eggs St. Charles... More

We stopped in for breakfast after being recommended by the host at our hotel. Coffee was good, food was bad...really bad. I didn't even eat enough of my breakfast to get full. It was expensive, too.

We get there and order up a couple of Palmers. Take a look at the menu and then see the card tucked behind a shaker or something that reads... Cash or local checks only. DANG IT. No Credit Union affiliations available in town at all. Can't go to Grass Valley and then come back up. So, we tell our server... More

We had a delightful breakfast here, which was well worth the wait. Their menu is extensive, and it was hard to choose, but everyone was happy with their order. My husband"s favorite meal is breakfast, and he is very particular about breakfasts out, and he said this was the best he had ever had. I think he had the St.... More
