We had breakfast here 2 days in a row. The food was good, not great but good and wholesome, and the service was superb and very friendly. Truly, the service and friendliness of our waitress brought us back for another breakfast.

We stopped in to warm up this morning after a chilly shop at the farmer's market. We hadn't been here in all the time we've lived here. We found the waitress to be so very friendly. Our food was very good. My husband ordered a chorizo dish that was excellent, highly recommend it. My hash browns were so-so, I think... More

We had breakfast here. My fork and spoon were dirty and lipstick on my glass of water so had to ask for clean everything. Tables and floor dirty, made it impossible to relax, we should had walked out, we wont be back.

We had been here before and enjoyed it. But really it's only good when 2 of the 4 waitresses are there. One was there. We walked in and ALL the tables were filthy, still full of dirty plates. All the customers clearly had finished and left. The waitress had cleaned up none of it but was flirting with a guy... More

We've eaten here several times, mostly weekend breakfast and the occasional lunch. The location is ideal - on Broad St., walkable from everywhere. It looks like an old-fashioned diner - in fact, it was used in a sappy Hallmark TV special a few years ago, as the quintessential small-town cafe. The wall murals depict a fanciful version of Broad St.... More

We shared a Reuben and fries, perfectly prepared and generous. Good service. A little warm inside, we should have sat closer to the ceiling fans.

My husband and I enjoyed a great breakfast in the Nevada City Classic Cafe. I had Pancakes and eggs - awesome. Ask and ye shall receive - tell what you want and they do their best to fill the bill. My husband had blueberry crepes. Not crepes with syrupy blueberry filling, but fresh blueberries. We were both astonished...okay so there... More
