Great Lobster Benedict

Four of us went here for a late breakfast/early lunch. Ordered the lobster benedict. It was delicious. Hollandaise sauce had a little kick to it. Really like the fact that you can order a full or half-size order. Great service, fun decor. Really enjoyed this meal.

Doing the turista thing, driving through Nevada City on the recommendation of a friend. I'm an omnivore but when traveling I often veer toward vegetarian-option restaurants that won't be overpowered with burnt bacon and greasy hamburger smells. Many restored and touristy restaurants in town looked too cute. But this place was the real deal! Kind of a skinny floor plan... More

We ate lunch here following our trip to The Animal Place in Grass Valley. There are lots of vegetarian items. There were 10 of us eating and we all loved our choices. The nut burger was a big hit as well as the portabella burger.

Finally found a place with a good meal. Eye appealing menu offered a variety of egg and French toast & pancake meals. Expect to wait a half hour or more outside. The place does not accommodate many and it's very popular. You do get to visit with interesting people while waiting a half hour to hour outside.

Everyone will find something they love here. Whether you are a local, a visitor, or a local bringing visitor's, you will love it. Fresh, fun ingredients work together to create comforting, delicious food. The perfect place for a weekend, leisurely brunch. It gets busy, so be prepared to wait if you arrive form 10 on. No reservations, If you come... More

I have eaten here a couple of times and the breakfast both times was wonderful. Lots of food too. I have only been to the South Pine Cafe in Grass Valley. It is a very bright, cheery place. Very good service too.

OK so this is my favorite local place for Breakfast. I do love others for individual things, but South Pine located in both Grass Valley AND Nevada City (on Pine Street) are amazing food places. I prefer the Grass Valley South Pine because it is a bit lighter, brighter and bigger, both both have AMAZING FOOD. If you are looking... More
