Amazing!!!!

I don't know how else to say it. I was hoping it would be good after waiting for a while outside with a toddler. It was small inside and you can see the cooks right there working away. I ordered the Cobra. Everything was fresh and flavorful. And the potatoes were out of this world. I didn't... read more

This is one of those restaurants that all the locals tell their friends visiting from out of town that they have to go to while they are here. From fresh squeezed juices to deliciously prepared dishes, you can't go wrong.

So good, we ate here twice. A busy Saturday meant a long wait for lunch. But, totally worth it. A friendly and informative regular customer (Brian) at next table, kept us very entertained with local info during the wait. My Smoldering Pine Burger was excellent. We came back next morning for Sunday brunch. Short wait and fast service. My South... More

Recently had lunch at South Pine Cafe. Very many menu choices. I had the portabella sandwich. Very good and so big I had to take home for later. Have eaten breakfast here many times and always good and great service too

Located downtown Nevada City. Small cafe, seating a little tight but a very friendly clientele . Good menu, food and service.

Four of us went here for a late breakfast/early lunch. Ordered the lobster benedict. It was delicious. Hollandaise sauce had a little kick to it. Really like the fact that you can order a full or half-size order. Great service, fun decor. Really enjoyed this meal.

Doing the turista thing, driving through Nevada City on the recommendation of a friend. I'm an omnivore but when traveling I often veer toward vegetarian-option restaurants that won't be overpowered with burnt bacon and greasy hamburger smells. Many restored and touristy restaurants in town looked too cute. But this place was the real deal! Kind of a skinny floor plan... More

We ate lunch here following our trip to The Animal Place in Grass Valley. There are lots of vegetarian items. There were 10 of us eating and we all loved our choices. The nut burger was a big hit as well as the portabella burger.
