Always hit this palce for Breakfast when we travel.

This place is almost always surrounded by truckers, which is a good sign of good food, in good quantity, and not too expensive. The Wagon Wheel hits that mark and then some. Good breakfast and a nice gift shop within the restaurant.

Three of us stopped by for dinner on a week night. We were the only patrons. The place seemed tired and dingy. I was not impressed. The food was so-so. I had a steak and it lacked flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive; however, I would probably not return.

The family and I have stopped here a few times and have found each visit to be delicious. The Wagon Wheel is the epitome of a Route 66 throwback diner. The service is pleasant, the decor rustic, and the gift shop quaint and well stocked with a variety of Route 66 knicknacks and postcards to commemorate your journey. So how's... More

Hard to find a place open on a holiday. Thank you to staff & owners. My husband loved it but I wasn't as happy. I don't like pressed meat. I prefer turkey breast sliced thin even without the skin. Traditional bread dressing is a positive. Green beans should be in a casserole, tender- crisp or cooked down, low and slow.

Absolutely one of the best Mom and Pop breakfast joints ever. On our west to east Route 66 journey, we stayed at Fenders Resort( also pretty cool) and stopped on our way out of Needles. Had a pot roast omelette with added chorizo. Unbelievably delicious. Great service, very homey and the owner was wonderful to talk to. Awesome

The Wagon Wheel is a decent lunch stop in Needles. Our waitress was friendly and made sure our drinks were refilled promptly. I ordered the monte cristo with friends. The sandwich was very good but the fries nothing special and obviously frozen. Decor wise the place is straight out of 1972 and hasn't been updated since. I guess some would... More
