Philippine Cuisine

Being a meat and potatoes guy, I can't say there's really a lot to choose from on the menu for me. But my Pinay fiancée likes the food and the service is very good. This is authentic Philippine cuisine with quality ingredients.

This is a good place if you want a better ambiance of Filipino food dining but the food is average. It's not too bad but a better place to go if you want parking. There's good desserts and baked goods but the customer service can use some help. The halo halo is not as good.

Every time I'm in National City I always stop here to get some native filipino desert like "polvoron" to go. Placed is always busy with diners. I don't come here to dine because the service is slow and the food are pricey.

A good 80% on this one, a "B". Nothing real exciting, but good. Nice decor, owner spent a lot of money. As you know a lot of Philippine dishes are way overcooked. And watch for MSG.

This is a great place to take Americans for Phillipino food. If you are introducing them to phillipino food. The resturant is a very busy one, there is almost always a long line to be seated and inside the restaurant they also have a bakery where people buy hand made cakes and breads and other desserts. The atmosphere is loud... More

Goldilocks serves your standard Filipino fare. The restaurant itself is not fancy, but clean and comfortable. We ordered fresh lumpia, pancit and fried fish off the menu (no 'turo turo' here) and it was pretty good. Not as good as Mom's, but better than what I can find in Seattle. Service was...pretty nonexistant. I think our server had forgotten about... More
