The food and wine are bad and the staff is rude - do not spend the money. Most of the trip is dark so there is not a view - they do not serve good Napa wines -- over priced.

pricey for the activity. The dome viewing car and service was excellant. The food was not identifible and eatable. I would recommend this tour for the experience.

The Napa Valley Wine Train is great for a first time visitor to Napa Valley. The food is good - it is prepared on the train as well as the selection of wines. However, take advantage of taking the wine tours. We enjoyed the two tours - Raymond's Wineries is by far the wildest winery I have seen. The guide... More

Brought mom on vacation for a tour and tasting, we had a blast. Would do it again in a heartbeat. The food was great, wine was excellent, aND staff very knowledgeable about the area; historic events and many many wineries to choose from. Enjoy! We certainly did

The Thanksgiving Dinner on the Napa Valley Wine Train was excellent, enjoyable and experience of the lifetime. I will remember this with my daughter forever! The food was delicious, excellent, and I enjoyed whole day with my daughter. From start to finish. Beginning with introduction of the train and all its history with few glass of tasting wine, to the... More

This was recommended to us by some friends and we are really glad we took their advice. A beautiful meal served at a leisurely pace complimented by some great wines and beers while travelling slowly through the Napa Valley, served by a waitress who told us some great stories about the people and places. It doesn`t get much closer to... More

This was our 4th time on the Wine Train and I'm still impressed; my husband and I both enjoy the trip, the food served by our very professional waiter, Gerald, in the Vista Dome car. We live 2 to 2-1/2 hours away and when we come to Napa for wine tasting, we seem to find ourselves wanting to take the... More

And good wine of course! This was just an enjoyable experience from the group snapshot in the beginning right until the very end. A slow leisurely trip through wine country enjoying excellent food (11 in our group & not one bad meal!) and the company of good friends & family. Our server Rick had all the right answers for our... We booked the Champagne Vista Dome Dinner on the Napa Wine Train. We were told to check in by 5:00 for the 6:30 departure. I think it was just so we would spend time in their small wine and gift shops. We checked in and waited until the letter of our boarding group was called. It was just my husband... More

Loved, loved, loved the train ride, the wine and the cuisine. You won't want to miss the nostalgic ride in a pullman or a locomotive. Such a nice memory to make while having a great meal with great company of your choice.
