Ate here on a busy Friday night. Original wait estimate from the hostess was 90 minutes, but that turned out to be only 60. Still, I wouldn't wait that long again. Food was good, but not great. The real selling point for this restaurant is that it is within walking distance of downtown hotels. more

What a surprise. It looked lively, and I was told the food was good, but it still surprised me. We ordered items that you just can't get elsewhere. We enojoyed the things we ordered, but then they accidentally brought us some roasted peppers and garlic that we didn't order. We ate them anyway and they were amazingly tasty for such... more

Great food and wine, cozy confines, but downtown Napa must fix being a destination for rowdies. I've been here a couple of times and the good stuff is consistent, but it also seems to be a magnet for angry, really drunk patrons. It seems that the word is out that if you have socially unacceptable behavior and like to wreck... more

We read rave local reviews on this tapas place in downtown Napa. It did not disappoint. The paella of the day is a "must do," and the mussels were excellent as well. Service was very attentive and the atmosphere is nice and fairly cozy. We sat upstairs, and were, unfortunately, next to a drunken group of middle-aged women who were... more

We arrived late in Napa our first night and had decided to eat at Zuzu because they don't take reservations. Overall we had a very mediocre experience. We ordered 4 tapas: Shaved artichoke and portabello salad w/ truffle oil, halibut ceviche, grilled octupus and roasted leg of lamb. The only dish that really stood out was the grilled octopus. That... more

We enjoyed a nice dinner here on a busy Saturday night. They don't take reservations, but we called ahead to let them know we were coming (we were a group of 9) and our table was ready when we arrived. The food was delicious, I especially recommend the mussels and the lamb. In my opinion Tapas restuarants are more fun... more

The food was tasty . we ordered Paella for one (right size for 3 when ordering other things), tortilla espaniola (omelette), mussels (were good), cheese fritos (yum), peach & cheese salad, Pimentos de padron (chilli - that are not chilli), lamb chops (were just Ok). The restaurant was packed all on the bottom, with some availability on top. We went... more

ZuZus was recommended by our hotel bartender telling us it was his favorite place to eat in Napa. My husband and I were not let down. The service was wonderul, the sangria was perfect and the food was amazing. ZuZus was very intimate and they did not rush you in and out. We will be going again when we return... more

If you're visiting Napa and want some dining experience where you can go back home and brag to your friends about some plate of food that looked like a magazine photo then Zuzu is not for you. If you want a dining experience where angels sing at every bite and you feel like the chef is in love with you... more

Zu Zu is a cozy and casual little tapas restaurant. You share the appetizer sized plates as they come out. We had the chopped salad, quesadilla, lamb chops and and potatoes/onions. It was all very delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I wish it had been more than the two of us so we could have tried more... more
