They do offer gluten and dairy free options, which is fantastic. Not so much for dairy free though. The pasta was nice, but they put carrots in the ragu for some reason. That's totally unnecessary. The chicken my wife got was fantastic though. The wines by the glass were pretty good. It's not the best but it's not bad. The... More

Don Giovanni is one of my favorite spots for Italian in Napa Valley. Wonderful service with a smile, very nice pattio seating on cool summer nights and incredible food. All pastas are made in house and produce are from the local growers. I had the rabbit ragu with parppadelle . I brought a 1987 BV Geaorge de La Tour Cabernet... More

We went to Bistro Don Giovanni with friends who are local. Like others have said in other reviews, this is a favorite among Napa locals, always a good sign. Like many restaurants in the valley they have a corkage policy that if you buy one bottle of wine there is no corkage charge for the bottle you bring. That worked... More

Six family members recently had lunch at Bistro Don Giovanni, sitting in the enclosed patio area. The food was excellent, the atmosphere charming and the service was outstanding. No matter what was ordered we were all saying how good it was...from the cold soup, salads (beet and avocado-excellent!), pasta (ravioli) to pizza. Everything was excellent! The service was outstanding and... More

If you are into the not so everyday Italian cooking then this is the place. I had an octopus appetizer that was so tender it almost melted in my mouth. Hard to do with octopus. and the entree was Rabbit. I only wish there was more on the plate. But that's just me

While visiting Raymond Vineyards in St. Helena, CA, we asked for a dinner recommendation. After listing a number of possibilities, Gabe suggested Bistro Don Giovanni as the place locals go. Our waitress Ruth was excellent, suggesting a couple of salads before we enjoyed our pizza. The Caesar was the best I've ever had. Trip Advisor plus Ask a Local, what... More

Despite the not so well experience on my last visit (October 13) I went again hoping things had improved. Well - the haven't! Still the quality and the presentation of the food is poor and and in no way worth the dollars you pay. The wine list is with out inspiration and the wines are over priced for what they... More

In Napa with our dog, so we were looking for a good restaurant with a dog friendly patio. We were actually at this restaurant last time in Napa (about four years ago), and remembered how good this place was, so we looked forward to trying it again. We were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, great food, and as I said, dog... More

Recently had dinner here as a walk-in diner. Staff were very attentive and we had a great meal that evening. I believe our server was Andre and would like to commend him for great service. We had the Salmom dish and the Pork chop dish, both were excellent. They were also kind enough to waive the corkage fee and we... More

Went here for 4th of July dinner. What a wonderful, enjoyable evening. All menu selections were delicious and paired with nice white wine. Staff are very nice, friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here.
