Very good food in a beautiful setting. Great, superb service. As someone else noted - chairs not very comfortable, and it felt a little claustrophobic, but the overall experience was very good. Will go back on our next visit to the Napa Valley.

The food is wonderful. The service is excellent. If I had a complaint, it would be that they have purchased new chairs that are plastic and look a bit cheap and aren't very comfortable.

We have been in Italy several time and really enjoyed local food. But it is not easy to get authentic Italian food, and this is the one. From wine, food to desert, everything is good, love it!

Overall great menu, service , prices may seem high but for the quality...worth it... View of vineyards spectacular especially in fall when colors are turning..

Bistro Don Giovanni is one of the better formal Italian restaurants in the Napa Valley. Lovely decor, great food & wine with knowledgeable. Attentive servers. Eight of us enjoyed a dinner including excellent pastas, veal, chicken & seafood dishes. Deserts were equally as good & included tiramisu, cheesecake & gelato.

We stayed right next door at Senza and walked over to this restaurant from the hotel. Ambiance is energetic, the place was full during the week! The food was delicious and our service was attentive and professional. Loved this place and will return! :)

Tricolor salad was fresh and delicious although a tad overdressed. We split three homemade pastas: linguini with clams (excellent with tons of clams), lamb pappardelle (tad salty), orchecciete with rabe (the most perfect little ears). Butterscotch pudding was out of this world and we also gobbled down then trifle. Service was exemplary.

Best food in the Valley, period. Creative, seasonal menu, superb variety, excellent preparation. No one does chicken or salmon better (says my husband the omnivore). And utterly vegetarian friendly (say I -- try the brussels sprouts!). Superb mixed drinks, great bartender (Isaac). Gracious and competent staff, refreshing outdoor dining options.

we went here for lunch on a Thursday, the place was hoppin'. Apparently a lot of wine makers hang out here. we had fun at the bar waiting for a table, The foccacia will clog an artery but it's hard to stop eating it. Fried olives - excellent! Octopus app - really good.
