Clams and mussels in a tasty garlic wine sauce, and pappardelle both very good. I sat at the bar for lunch. The bartender was absent more than he was there, resulting in poor service. Bread was dry and tasteless, made palatable by the herbed olive oil. Moderately large wine list, with a half dozen reds and whites by the glass,... More

The dip for the bread is delicious but the bread needs to be warm. Heirloom tomato salad was awesome but the arugula salad was bland and boring. The capellini and the sausage ricotoni pastas were great, and the gelato (chocolate and vanilla) was wonderful.

Ate at the Allegria on the last night of a 10 day trip - we were supposed to stay in downtown Napa but the earthquake put paid to those plans. We had to stay out of town but were keen to try the excellent restaurants we had read about in Napa. We were not disappointed, great food and ambiente -... More

We did our research and booked Allegria ahead for Saturday night following a day of wine tasting in Napa. We arrived a bit after 8 with a good claret glow, and were seated at our table. The place was pumping. We ordered the mixed Allegria starter which had various meat sticks, calamari and bruschetta. I then went with the Australian... More

I organized a dinner for 25 people who had been on a winery tour during the day. All the planning was done from Ontario, Canada and everything went smoothly. All who attended raved about the food and the service. They said it was the perfect end to a perfect day. Thanks to everyone at Allegria for helping to make this... More

Ristorante Allegria is in a converted bank on the main drag in Napa.-the atmosphere is warm and lively. The service is friendly and fast for a restaurant this size. The food is delicious-great seafood specials, excellent mushroom ravioli. The tab very reasonable. Highly recommended

Disappointing birthday dinner. Frutti di mare was marginal and served with about 10 strands of fettuccini. No lie-3 twirled forkfuls and done. I can never understand why Italian restaurants skimp on pasta! My wife's bolognese had meat with virtually no sauce. I offered the rest of my sauce to her. Not a good first impression.

We had a great meal here for dinner. The menu was moderately priced with good sized portions. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Sitting outside was perfect, very romantic with the live accordion player. We will certainly be back.
