Description: We were born and raised in Italy and believe that when it comes to Italian food in the U.S., a lot has been lost in translation. We created our winery and our restaurant to pursue our passion for the true flavors of life. We believe the true flavors of authentic Italian cuisine are beautiful. Italian cuisine began with dishes made with few, simple ingredients (flavors) that were strong enough to stand on their own. In effort to capture them, we use select local organic, and Italian ingredients and prepare our dishes in strict accord with traditional regional recipes. Ca’ Momi is Italian for “House of Momi”, Stefano and co-owner Valentina’s family home in Veneto, Italy. The house was named in honor of “Momi dea Bionda”, who is legendary in the Veneto region for his fiery obsession with safeguarding his home. We believe Momi’s protective spirit is still watching our property. Our food, like our wine, is a celebration of his passions and his quest for the simple pleasures of life.

Wow, I thought I was back in Napoli again. This is by far the best pizza that I have had in the United States. Keep in mind this is true honest to goodness 100% Napoletana pizza. We happened upon the restaurant by chance while browsing around the Oxbow Public Market. At first the place didn't look very impressive but then... More

The restaurant is inside this oxbow market. We had pizza and tagliatelle bolonese, pizza is the napoletan kind. The size of the tagliatelle is small and a bet salty for my taste. The atmosphere was very nice, they have some setting outside and inside. We ask to be seated inside because we like to people watching. Desert was tiramesu and... More

Oxbow Matket is not the kind of place I would expect to find a good Italian restaurant but I was proven wrong. The open air feel of the venue, especially on a crowded day, kind of takes away from any type of ambiance you would expect in a trattoria but, hey, we were there for the food. We were seated... The desserts are amazing. The tiramisu in a mason jar is the best that I have ever had. Everything is so fresh!

We had dinner on a Saturday night and were seated promptly (we had a reservation). We were on the 'patio' which was a little chilly on an early Nov. night. They have heaters but they don't seem to be adequate. I was seated nest to one and was still cold. I had read the positive reviews here and on Yelp,... More

This is a great little restaurant at Oxbow. We were greeted by the hostess with a warm smile. There was a long wait (Saturday lunchtime, of course) for the patio, but one of the front indoor tables was open...good luck for us. Being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the market was enjoyable and entertaining; great people-watching. Geoff was... More

I would have given 5 stars but our initial reception precluded that award. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation during the start of the lunch time service and were told that we could not be seated yet and that we could be seated in the bar area - the woman was quite unfriendly. The bar area had... More

We sampled three selections from Ca' Momi's Slow Food section highlighting "offals". The tripe was one of the best tripe dishes I've sampled (and if you're a tripe newbie, you would think you're consuming a meaty mushroom), the sweetbreads perfectly fried and the tongue cutlets perfect with the balsamic glaze.
