Description: We were born and raised in Italy and believe that when it comes to Italian...
We were born and raised in Italy and believe that when it comes to Italian food in the U.S., a lot has been lost in translation. We created our winery and our restaurant to pursue our passion for the true flavors of life. We believe the true flavors of authentic Italian cuisine are beautiful. Italian cuisine began with dishes made with few, simple ingredients (flavors) that were strong enough to stand on their own. In effort to capture them, we use select local organic, and Italian ingredients and prepare our dishes in strict accord with traditional regional recipes. Ca’ Momi is Italian for “House of Momi”, Stefano and co-owner Valentina’s family home in Veneto, Italy. The house was named in honor of “Momi dea Bionda”, who is legendary in the Veneto region for his fiery obsession with safeguarding his home. We believe Momi’s protective spirit is still watching our property. Our food, like our wine, is a celebration of his passions and his quest for the simple pleasures of life.

Good food in the wrong place

The service here is great. Fast, friendly and efficient. Seating however is in the common area of the Oxbow Market, so you will spend your meal being pummeled by tourists as they push by. Food was for the most part good with excellent presentation. My entree arrived a bit on the cool side though... read more

Ca' Momi is located inside the Oxbow Public Market. We had lunch there yesterday and came away with a very mixed impression of the food, which is billed as authentic Italian. I had soup which was outstanding and was made from local organic vegetables and beans. My husband had a spaetzle and speck (fancy name for bacon) dish that was... More

Owner and chef of Ca Momi is true to his Italian heritage with house cured meats and pizza ovens serving up delicious foods. This is a favorite with locals and also is starting to draw tourists who have heard of the Oxbow Market that Ca Momi is a part of. The market offers several choices of foods in small stall... More

Did not like the pizza. It had a nice thin crust but lacked big time on toppings. We also had he oxtail pasta which was pretty good. That's the only reason I'm not giving them a zero. I asked to customize me pizza just a bit and they said "no". I guess the customer isn't right here.

First, this restaurant is located in an upscale indoor market area, so it is not a traditional, freestanding restaurant, though they do have some separate patio seating. They emphasize their Neapolitan authenticity, and perhaps they do get a bit carried away with it. Our server certainly did. However, they food was very good and reasonably priced. Of special note is... More

This restaurant bills itself as "authentic Italian" and is apparently tough to get into. I made a reservation and went there with a friend on New Year's Day. The first thing you notice is a sign basically saying, no chili flakes, no Parmesan cheese, no substitutions allowed. The second thing you notice is that you have been seated at a... More

The service, especially seating, was very slow to start. A number of staff hung around whilst we wanted to be seated, as 'the right person will be back soon'. Really? We eventually got seated and settled and partway through the staff seemed to change and we acquired a fabulous waitress. The pappardelle was excellent and coupled with a gals of... More

Ca' Momi was our meeting place for my friend's birthday. We only had drinks, but they were amazing. My friend had a mimosa made with blood orange and I had a bellini. The lovely lady that was taking our orders was very attentive and helpful. I have to go back and try some of the amazing food we saw being... More
