I went here on a girl's trip to Napa Valley. The good is fabulous. Sharing portions. The setting is intimate and super cute. Our server, Christa, was phenomena! It was my 30th bday and we got free champagne. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better server. Cheers to you, Christa!

We went to Carpe Diem the night before the earthquake. The service was excellent and our server suggested a great bottle of wine that was not too pricey. Also we had the quack n cheese, the crab stuffed squash blossoms, the scallops, the ostrich burger and for dessert - the homemade twix bar. The food overall was excellent! I have... More

Recommended by staff at hotel. Food was great and the wait staff was very efficient. Unfortunately the building in which this restaurant is housed was heavily damaged by the recent earth quake so it might be a while until others can enjoy this place.

The vibe is hip, the service is friendly. The food is excellent. Don't miss the housemade burrata if you go. It's incredible. The shaved broccoli salad is also unique and delicious. It's small, so make sure to make resos in advance.

We were passing by and looking at the menu when someone said "great happy hour, you should give it a try." Why not? We gave it a try and were very happy we did. While we didn't give the menu much of a workout, what we had was great. Soup shots, tamales, the "mini quack" (a small order of their... More

We came across Carpe Diem walking on our way back to our B&B. We decided to stop in and so glad we did. What a cute place and fun. Since we already had dinner somewhere else we stopped in for a glass of wine and dessert. It was crowded and we were at least able to sit at the bar... More

We dropped into Carpe Diem on our way home from dinner while in Napa. We were sat at the bar, and given a menu by the jovial barmen. There was an extensive selection of wine by the glass and beers. We harpooned a red and white between myself and my new wife, and then I got a bit of steam... More

From the minute we walked in the door everything was perfect. Located in downtown Napa, the location is easy to find for those touring downtown Napa. Our party of 4 ordered very different items and no one was disappointed. Salad, the gourmet mac and cheese, even the burgers here are a cut above the ordinary. Our waitress was knowledgeable and... I forgot to write a review when I was here in early August but was unfortunately reminded with pictures of the damage from the earthquake. Hopefully this restaurant didn't suffer too much damage but if and when it reopens, if it hasn't already, please try it out. Our waitress was great and knowledgeable of all food being served. The fries... More
