Our first night in Napa and we had no idea where to eat. We drove around the "downtown" Napa area and didn't know what we had a taste for so ended up driving back towards our hotel and came across Black Bear Diner...so glad we did. It has a family restaurant feel but the food was so much better than... More

The breakfast was excellent and the service prompt. Good environment for families. Went on two separate occasions and was pleased both times.

My wife and I were visiting Napa and decided to stop here for breakfast based on internet reviews. We were both impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness, quantity and quality of the meal. I had ordered eggs benedict and my wife had eggs and potatoes. We both left full. In looking at some of the other items going by the table... More

Wasn't quite sure what to expect when visiting this diner, but have to say was pleasantly surprised! The welcome and waitress service was excellent, with our waitress helping with the menu, recommendations and generally making us feel welcome. The food portions were huge! The meatloaf was excellent, as was the huckleberry ice cream!

Although our hotel offered a free breakfast, we always enjoy the options at Black Bear. Had the ham & cheese omlet as well as oatmeal and the fresh fruit bowl and the servings were very generaous. Service was very personable and attentive. Atmosphere is typical "Black Bear". Good food & good service.

We selected this restaurant for breakfast based on tripadvisor reviews. Great choice! This is the best breakfast we have ever had. Incredibly generous servings of excellently cooked food. The scrambled eggs were perfect. The sausage patties were the size of hamburgers. The veggie omelette was to die for! Hash browns perfectly cooked. Did I mention the servings were huge? We... More

I love their breakfast. Lots to chose from. I was staying in the area for a business trip so I visited this location twice. Pancakes are tasty, eggs are tasty and the coffee is smooth.

We always enjoy Black Bear Diner so I was excited to see one when we arrived in Napa. Same great menu with giant portions. I recommend sharing a meal there will be plenty. Just the biscuit could be a meal in itself, it is huge! We had a great breakfast they will scramble any omelet and they make their hashbrowns... More

You won't leave this place hungry! The food is big and good. The thick sliced bacon... yummy. The breakfast burrito... spicy! And I mean SPICY (but delicious). The biggest biscuts I have ever seen, moist and delicious. Good service, friendly staff, and loaded with locals, always a great sign. A great place to go after a night lf consuming adult... More
