I guess we were disappointed as the food in Morimoto NYC was better, though that is not to say the food is bad here.....with the exception of one dish! The duck fried rice is far, far too salty. We mentioned this to the waitress but she didn't appear to be too interested to be honest, or perhaps she couldn't hear... More

Our friends treated us to this amazing experience. The host led us from the Asian-modern lobby, past the open kitchen, and into the boisterous dining room. (Don't expect a quiet meal.) We ordered many different items and shared them family-style. The helpful waitstaff cheerfully accomodated this dining style, replacing dishes whenever necessary. The experience was like a multi-course meal, with... More

We stopped by after an evening of eating to enjoy the architectural space and some cocktails. Neither disappointed. The bar and small lounge area can get a little crowded at times but its not hectic. Though pricey, I'd recommend it as a visit for all outgoing visitors to the area.

Besides being on the riverfront area and beautifully decorated, this restaurant offers one of the best Japanese food in this area. We had a couple of rolls and all were excellent. Very well presented as well and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Congratulations

Top notch service at all levels. Creative cocktail menu. Mixologist came to our table to discuss the offerings. Heard our thoughts and made a tweak to the drink for my wife. I had the Sibiscus Hazerac, which was rye whiskey with hibiscus bitters and other stuff, and it was perfect for the moment for me. Waitress Moriah couldn't have been... More

The menu is extensive and we couldn't decide what to have, so we left the decision making to the kitchen and ordered Morimoto Omakase. A bit pricey, but worth it. Some of the items came from the regular menu, others did not. All were creative, tasty, and presented well. Service was attentive and friendly. The meal was well paced with... More

I love watching Morimoto on Iron Chef, and so I really wanted to try his restaurant. I was not disappointed. Our waiter was super friendly, and went through the menu with us, explaining the dishes and pointing out his favorites. I ordered the duck and it was fantastic. Drinks were good, and the atmosphere was fun.

Despite the conflicting reviews, and my enjoyment of a loud/hip vibe, this restaurant is noticeably too loud. It's not just the volume, but also the acoustics as everything echoes in the concrete block. We had california rolls made wrong twice!! Apparently Morimoto was there personally and making the sushi chefs nervous, but this was still unbelievable. With this said, the... More
