Great food

We had wonderful guidance on what wine to order. The calamari salade was the best calamari I have ever had and big enough for two. We had two appetizers and that's all we had room for. We will go back to try the sushi.

Wonderful cuisine, modern atmosphere, not exactly a family eatery; but the best the area has to offer.

This review pertains only to my dining experience on Friday, 3/6/15. My friends and I live in Napa and regularly drink and eat at Morimoto's. With a party of 5, we were having a good time as usual. We had all had a few sushi rolls, and a few drinks, when I asked the waiter if everything on the table,... More

We had lunch here on a Saturday while visiting the Napa area. Everything was good, but nothing was spectacular. I am sure we will try it again when visiting, but will not make it a destination. The dining room was a bit awkward as well. It was not extremely busy, so the table next to us was fortunately empty.

Being my first visit to Napa, I really wanted to check out Iron Chef Morimoto's restaurant! We were greeted quickly by gorgeous doors leading to a grand entry way to the restaurant - donned in Sake bottles! The restaurant is bright and aesthetically pleasing! Was the food the best I have tasted? Unfortunately it is not - however you still... More

We ate here with another couple and had a very good meal. We ordered a few different types of sushi, spicy crab legs, edamame, branzino and sea bass (I think). Everyone's food was good. This is definitely a more expensive place, and it was quite loud. I don't think we will return because it just wasn't a truly special meal... More

We used a livingsocial voucher which gave us an omakase lunch for 2. Excellent value and presentation, and very tasty. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner when you visit Napa. Service was quick and responsive, plus food was served at a very good and even pace.

While the food is good, it is extremely awkward to be closer to the person seated next to me than the person I'm actually dining with. If I'm going to spend $130 on dinner for two, I don't expect to be seated on top of another couple. I understand that the restaurant wants to seat as many guests as possible,... More

This place is amazing! Just ordered the Crispy Whole Fish in spicy tofu sauce, w/papaya salad; enjoying my oyster foie gras appetizer w/oysters, foie gras, Uni and teriyaki sauce, and a bottle of Iberian remix, Albariño from Napa Valley 2011, wow, you won't be disappointed.

Nothing to say except simply spot on and amazingly fresh food. Expected great but this experience was even better.
