Excellent but noisy

No fault to be found with food or service. When the restaurant is full as it was when we went, the noise level is deafening - very difficult to comverse with your table companions.

Insane!!! Don't bother trying to decide what to order if this is your first time here. I highly suggest sticking to the Chef's Tasting Menu. Our waiter, Barron, was very knowledgeable and was very helpful recommending a wine that would pair with the tasting menu. I would say that the toro tartare was probably my favorite item. However, everything was... More

This meal was as expected. Very fresh seafood, although the sushi was not as creative as the apps (which were tasty and fun). The deserts were quite unique and yummy as well. Great service too.

What a great experience!! Then again, can anyone expect anything less from a famous Iron Chef?! Everything was delicious. Thank you, Amir for your perfect suggestions and wonderful disposition. The next time we're in Napa, expect us back.

Amazing creative Sushi here. Staff needs better training. We were seated outside March 28th and apparently hsotess never informed our waiter...so after waiting 10 mins, I had to get up and search for anyone who could tell us why we were being ignored!! Manager came over and comped our tea and beer drinks. Then, a busboy removed plates before we... More

We had wonderful guidance on what wine to order. The calamari salade was the best calamari I have ever had and big enough for two. We had two appetizers and that's all we had room for. We will go back to try the sushi.

Wonderful cuisine, modern atmosphere, not exactly a family eatery; but the best the area has to offer.

This review pertains only to my dining experience on Friday, 3/6/15. My friends and I live in Napa and regularly drink and eat at Morimoto's. With a party of 5, we were having a good time as usual. We had all had a few sushi rolls, and a few drinks, when I asked the waiter if everything on the table,... More

We had lunch here on a Saturday while visiting the Napa area. Everything was good, but nothing was spectacular. I am sure we will try it again when visiting, but will not make it a destination. The dining room was a bit awkward as well. It was not extremely busy, so the table next to us was fortunately empty.

Being my first visit to Napa, I really wanted to check out Iron Chef Morimoto's restaurant! We were greeted quickly by gorgeous doors leading to a grand entry way to the restaurant - donned in Sake bottles! The restaurant is bright and aesthetically pleasing! Was the food the best I have tasted? Unfortunately it is not - however you still... More
