Description: Located in the heart of downtown Napa's West End District, the Norman Rose...
Located in the heart of downtown Napa's West End District, the Norman Rose Tavern is that comfortable spot where you can meet family and friends for a nice cocktail, pint or glass of wine paired with a great burger and fries or other classic, American comfort food. The menu takes a local, sustainable approach to time-honored dishes like fish & chips, fried chicken, chop salad, mac and cheese, and much more, all prepared utilizing the fresh, seasonal and quality ingredients found in the North Bay. The design offers a rustic pub feel with modern touches created by Kimberly Nunn and Dan Worden of Shopworks in Napa. The thoughtful beverage list sports a collection of cocktails, wines and beers that soar two or three levels above most, with many outstanding and well priced Napa Valley wines. The by-the-glass list is impressive as well with over twenty wines by the glass. An extensive spirits list featuring classic cocktails round out the offerings.

Dinner Out

Located right across the street from our hotel (Andaz) We had a great meal here- holy fries, you'll want to order every variety they have! The meatloaf isn't your mommas, it's better, and the mules were crisp and refreshing. We ate outdoors and had great service.

Great food in the heart of Napa. Half Chicken with Red mashed potatoes was excellent. Fresh salads with veggies was perfect for my wife and I. Within walking distance of our B&B it was a natural choice for us. Bethany our server was very attentive and made sure that any change we wanted was perfectly executed. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.... More

We were traveling with grandchildren who are selective diners. Despite this restaurant being crowded, the hostess located us a table in a timely manner, and our server, Chris, did a fine job of finessing dishes to please all four of us. The food was tasty and the beer list quite diverse. We were well-pleased.

Good beer, good service, great food for all of us. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices. Nothing bad to say about this place. Worst thing was getting there. Traffic from the Bay Area surrounding Napa was enough to make me stay away in the future.

Stopped in for dinner during some of the basketball playoffs and enjoyed the beer menu and the entrees. The menu offers bar food and very good entrees. Very good local and craft beer menu. This is a great casual place to chill, grab a meal and watch a ballgame.

After a long day of wine tasting we just wanted something simple and perhaps a beer. This place hit the spot. Good service and nice outdoor patio.
