Description: Located in the heart of downtown Napa's West End District, the Norman Rose...
Located in the heart of downtown Napa's West End District, the Norman Rose Tavern is that comfortable spot where you can meet family and friends for a nice cocktail, pint or glass of wine paired with a great burger and fries or other classic, American comfort food. The menu takes a local, sustainable approach to time-honored dishes like fish & chips, fried chicken, chop salad, mac and cheese, and much more, all prepared utilizing the fresh, seasonal and quality ingredients found in the North Bay. The design offers a rustic pub feel with modern touches created by Kimberly Nunn and Dan Worden of Shopworks in Napa. The thoughtful beverage list sports a collection of cocktails, wines and beers that soar two or three levels above most, with many outstanding and well priced Napa Valley wines. The by-the-glass list is impressive as well with over twenty wines by the glass. An extensive spirits list featuring classic cocktails round out the offerings.

Interesting Restaurant & Bar

We just had drinks and bar food but both were excellent. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and some very creative cocktails. The bar food options are on the fancy side, e.g.

Visited with my daughter last week for lunch. The grilled cheese sandwich was served with this spicy tomato chunky salsa. Perfect size sandwich....not too big. Get the truffle fries too. Casual place, sports TVs, green leather booths...very relaxing.

Awesome, juicy burgers! Asked for medium temp and they were done perfectly. Fast, efficient service, cute atmosphere, great fries -got both truffle/pram fries and sea salt/ black pepper. Go here!

Service is a little lacking in professionalism, especially compared to their neighbors, but this is a very good everyday Pub kind of place that doesn't break the bank.

This is a great spot for a group and it has something fresh for everyone. Harp on tap along with many others local beers. Sandwiches, burgers of course, but pay attention to the rolling chalkboard specials list--it's 6 feet long so you can't miss it. Good wine list and full bar. You'll be back for sure.

We had a nice time of St Patricks Day dinner. We got a table with only a 10 minute wait. Outside area was very nice and waitress was prompt. We had good service. It was not memorable but a nice evening

If you don't have a reservation, you'll have to wait a while like we did. But they have a bar area where you can have a drink and review the menu. We even had an appetizer while waiting. There is a wide variety of food to choose from. Everything on other tables looked great. Servings are a the large size.... More

We came out of an early movie, looking for a place to have a late lunch, and came upon Norman Rose Tavern. Neither of us had ever eaten here before, but it looked very nice from the outside so we just took a chance. Good choice! Both of us were very pleased with our lunches. My friend had the grilled...
