Great Stop for a Quick Bite

We stopped here for a quick bite of oysters & beers, however we wished we had ordered a little more than that once we saw the sandwiches and chowder come out! Everything looked delicious, would definitely come back.

My wife and I happened into The Oxbow Market and discovered this great little and I do mean little oyster bar. What it lacked in space surely made up in the selection and deliciousness. We had the sampler, which I highly recommend due being able to compare each kind of oyster. It was a little pricey, but a lot of... More

Hog is one of the most economical well served oyster places u can find. Napa one is at the hub of town, only 5 mins walk from Westin. No reservations allow so I suggest going early since wineries close at 4 to 5 anyway. Bring along ur white wines bought a day with USD15 corkage fee. Oysters are good as... More

Grerat Oysters Rockefellor, not as good as texas. Great choices, good prices and you can go to other areas within this upscale food court to get desserts and gifts. $7.00 cab ride from Embassy suites. Good parking, which is very helpful.

This was our second visit to Hog Island, the first being four years ago. The oysters were cold, fresh and very good. If you like oysters this is a great place. I had a grilled cheese sandwich which was probably the best ever made from a mix of Cowgirl Creamery cheese, forage blanc and gruyere. My wife had the steamers... More

We were in the Oxbow market and wanted to try the fresh oysters, we're from Alaska so we know what fresh oysters can be. We ordered the sampler with 2 each of six different types. The server was knowledgable and friendly and explained each one. They were delicious and it was great trying so many types side by side. We... More

I ordered the oyster po'boy to go so that I could eat with the rest of my family in the oxbow market. It took so long to get my order and when it finally came it was a teeny tiny sandwich. Normally a po'boy is decent size on a long roll, but this was small on a McDonald's sized round... More

The service was friendly the beer & the oysters were awesome! The bread excellent and the dippin sauce was unique. We ate our fill and then wanted more! The wait-staff were on the spot and just the right amount of friendly! The atmosphere was fun and bustling, which made us feel like home! Would take and/or recommend to all of... More

The place was not what I expected. It is inside of an area where several other eateries are. They were working on the area outside and it was a terrible site. The waitress was short and snappy with us and could use some customer service training. The food is over priced. The experience was not as good as I expected.
