Went here with daughter, her boyfriend, and my partner. What a great adventure. Oxbow Public Market is similar to place in S.F., including the Hog Island Oyster Company. We had the 12 piece Oyster Bar Mix, the 12 piece Hog Island Sweetwater, and two orders for the grilled spicy oysters. All were so fresh! Everyone enjoyed every taste. Great waitstaff,... More

On a recent trip to Napa we visited HOG Island Oyster Co. What a cool spot. Had some great appetizers and a few dozen oysters that were to die for. I am a big oyster fan, and these farm fresh oysters they have from their own oyster farm on the coast were some of the best I've had. Thanks to... More

Stopped here after a flight and drive into Napa for some oysters and a beer. It met all the criteria and did a great job. Oysters were perfect, the beer was great, the grilled cheese was fantastic, the other food was very good. Only minor issue was some construction behind the patio which was a little noisy but nothing Hog... More

Sitting with hubby now as we eat and am so happy! Started with 4 grilled oysters over butter which were sinfully delightful. Then moved to chowder and grilled cheese sandwich. I am full! And happy just had a dozen oysters placed in front of us...omg! We couldn't get in in san Fran and so happy to sit at Hogs in... More

Great little restaurant. Sit at the fabulous bar and watch the oyster shucking. I had the rustic seafood chowder-best ever, with large pieces of fish, clams, shrimp and mussels and my wife had the halibut. Excellent choices . The house Sauvignon blanc was a great wine pairing. Super service. We will be back.

This is as fresh as it comes, wonderful oysters, try the Oysters Rockefellers. The only strange thing is the bizarre liquor laws in CA.

We were here after some wine tasting along the Silverado trail and we were very impressed by the food! If you've never tried oysters (like us) I recommend ordering a plate with 12-18 oysters to share and some sparkling wine or rosé. You will love it.

Brilliant fresh oysters with a great local sparkling was a great way to start of the night. Enjoyed both the natural from two districts plus a couple of different grilled versions.
