Dined here late one evening --- maybe that was the problem. The portions were a bit skimpy (like 3 small oysters on a sandwich?), and it just wasn't as good as the HIOC in San Francisco Ferry Building.

We ate here and enjoyed the soup and the seafood. Service was good as was the food! Could have had larger portions.

We have enjoyed having oysters here. Hog Island is a local Tomales Bay company and so the oysters are fresh. We like to sit at the bar and watch the chefs as they do the hard work of shucking the oysters. Its fun and a good meal. The place is at Oxbow Market, so before or after we usually stop... More

My husband and I were in napa this week staying within waking distance from the Oxbow Market. We are there 2 out of the 3 nights for all the varieties of the grilled oysters. The service was quick and easy and the quality was superb!

I can't comment on the oysters, but they had the best clam chowder I've ever tasted! Located in a marketplace containing a few choice eateries. The atmosphere was vibrant and upbeat. A definite must try when visiting the area!!

The oysters are fresh & juicy befitting its name. The clam chowder is nearly as great-unique in a good way &other service attentive. We love the festive atmosphere at the Oxbow market also.

There are lots of options in the market but we were going for oysters at Hog fish. We loved the variety and had the large assorted platters. They taste very different from Florida oysters. Service was quick and It was great!!! Sweet oysters!!

Always the freshest oysters in Napa! they also make a killer clam chowder which they make to order right in front of you! The only downside is that it's very noisy as it is in the back corner of the Oxbow Market. but still a great place to do a quick lunch!

The restaurant is located inside of the Oxbow Public Market, and it is surrounded by other sit-down or to-go restaurants. They go through a TON of oysters. The oysters were very good. I ordered the grilled ones with mushrooms, and they were yummy. My favorite oysters are still at Acme House in New Orleans but this place comes close.

I usually get my fill of those bivalves at the Hog island in the Ferry Building Marketplace but this was my first experience in Napa at the Oxbow Public Market. And they have a one-up on the SF location... 50% off one selected oyster on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 to 7pm. Cha-ching! And the Tricolore Salad was so good,... More
