Love the oysters. They are pricey but worth every bit. Went there with my wife. Had a beer, appetizer, soup and 18 oysters. Every oyster is fresh and shuck in front of you

My wife and I had a pleasant meal at the restaurant. We had oysters, chowder and the seafood broth. The oysters were fresh, tasty and quite good. The chowder wasn't that great but the clams in my chowder were EXCELLENT. Fresh and really tasty. My wife's seafood broth was pretty good. Well worth a stop for lunch.

We had really wanted to eat at Hog Island while in San Francisco, but the Ferry Building location was being remodeled and was closed. Being landlocked in Colorado we always pig out on seafood while at the coast. Much to our delight Hog Island has a second location in Napa! We sat at the bar and watched them shuck our... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way in to Napa. We had raw oysters and an oyster PoBoy. We wished that we had gotten the clam chowder though. It looked so good and more clams than I have ever seen. Food was great, service very good. We kept talking about going back but there was always another restaurant we... More

Just stopped by on Sunday for lunch. We sat at the bar and ordered raw oysters and baked ones too. We definitely preferred the raw ones, very fresh and tasty. The baked ones were not as good, so we will pass on them next time. Very relaxed casual atmosphere, overlooking the cook preparing other delicious seafood dishes that we may... More

We enjoyed lunch there sitting at the bar. The clam chowder was the best we have ever eaten - anywhere! Freshly prepared as you order it, so it's not been sitting around in a pot all day. Lovely wine selection too and amazing coleslaw. Freshest oysters too. Delish!!!!!

Sat at the bar - ordered the oyster sampler after our waitress suggested it as a way to sample the different flavors that accompany the oysters. This was so good!!!! we could have easily ordered another dozen but we wanted to eat dinner later. The oysters were so fresh and clean-delicious! The wine was very good as well. Service was... More

The oysters are just mouth watering. You can choose from 5 or 6 types. Best of all it was happy hour time so we had the oysters for a half price. The draft beers were 20% off so we had oysters and ales for a much better price? I loved the place, really recommend it.

We go out to eat oysters at least once a week and this place was raved about by some locals. I don't know if it is just a southern or even Texan thing, but I eat my oysters with crackers and cocktail sauce and this place has neither. When I asked for crackers our server acted like she had never... More

I hardly ever splurge on oysters (my husband is not a fan), but during my winter vacation, I happened it to the Oxbow and decided to treat myself. I was not disappointed in any way. I had 6 oysters on the half-shell (the sampler) that were so fresh and fantastic! I have had fresh oysters in Seattle and these were... More
